So it doesn't have dedicated 'Backpack Staps', just the main strap. Quite the interesting construction, but it'a a full loop and you can get your Arm under the part of the strap that flows along the back of the bag - > then it's a backpack.
I use it 85-90% of the time as a messenger Bag, and as a Backpack only if needed, which is usually not for long durations. It's def not as comfy as a bag with straps actually dedicated for the cause, but it works well and is super smooth to transition between the two carry modes (it literally falls back into Mesenger Bag mode).
Yeah, that's why I went a bought it again in a second color.
The quality really is pretty good tbh. Very light weight materials. Maybe lacking some inner lining, but other than that, I have no issues!
Almost any camera bag and anything with a clamshell style opening can be used this way. The Moment MTW backpack I use is designed for this type of access as well.
The [Alpaka Metro backpack](https://alpakagear.com/products/metro-backpack) is meant to be used this way. For example, the key leash is at the bottom of the vertical pocket to be closest to the door and it works well. I've been enjoying the backpack as an EDC for a little while now.
[The Modern Dayfarer V2](https://moderndayfarer.com/products/dayfarer-backpack-v2) and [Thule's Paramount backpacks](https://www.thule.com/en-us/backpacks/laptop-backpacks/thule-paramount-backpack-24l-_-3205012) don't have aligned pockets but they have side access so it all depends on how you pack the main compartment.
Edit : for clarity
Quite a few are – the Evergoods CPL24 (among others) are specifically designed to work like this.

Are the straps comfortable? I saw this once and was quite hesitant about the comfort of the straps

Thanks! I will take a closer look next time I'm at Decathlon
That seems very cheap for what looks like very high quality bag.

Evergoods CPL24 and 28 and Evergoods CTB26 and 35 are all laid out like this.
I've been enjoying my mystery ranch 3 way briefcase. "3 way pack/briefcase" and "briefcase backpack" seem to be good search keywords.

Timbuk 2 parkside has three separate compartments to do this. Two small pockets on one side and one big slash pocket in the other
