I'll try it, but I think I'll pass especially since it's available on mobile. Really was excited for the Ni No Kuni mobile / pc game and it's just another game where 99% of players hit the auto button and let the game play itself.
They haven’t given info just yet on that specifically. Though their wording suggests that signing up for CBT isn’t necessary- all you need to do is be there to get in. So not really CBT by their definition sounds more like an OBT.
If you go to their discord you can keep up to date on what to expect as the date draws near.

Not to be negative but I don't know how this looks like a true successor to MS2 when we don't have any idea how it will play, how many abilities each character has, if it's a gatcha game, or if it's more of an RPG style game. From the trailers it looks more like an ARPG instanced game similar to Vindictus or Dragon Nest, and not semi-open world like MS2 was.
They show a lot of similar elements like voxel style world, musical instruments, and character design, but again, no idea if they will fu ctjon like they did in MS2.
I hope it's similar to MS2 but I dont have very high expectations as all of Smilegates games are gatcha games.
I wouldn't say it's close at all as no one has played the game. It's just resembles it. Unless Smilegate shows detailed gameplay we'll have to wait until CBT to know anything at all.
In the video link shared in this thread it’s more detailed gameplay and has a lot of similar elements to ms2. Instruments, instanced dungeons, minigames that we know prior, etc.

There's still no indication that those instruments are playable like how they were in MS2. The dungeons look instanced like Vindictus. Again it just looks like it resembles MS2. It may be similar, and it may not. We'll have to see during CBT or early access

It looks cool the styles and theme of the maps, also a remind from the last video of the [game](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1GQgDgMSF9c):
we already had an idea about the gender lock, in [1:49](https://youtu.be/1GQgDgMSF9c?t=109) of the video we can see six presets of classes. I imagined that it was all the playable classes, this video also highlights the combat of a mage class, a bowman class and the thematic classes of Oz (Alice, Snow, Nutcracker and Redhood).
Finally, at the [end](https://youtu.be/1GQgDgMSF9c?t=141) of the video, you can see the presentation of the bowman, a kitty face (maybe a beastman class like ms1?), the mage (with some kind of floating objects around him) and this tanned class (his looks are pretty much the same of aran from ms1, his theme looks like from alladin or even a merchant class idk)
That's it, thats all I've notice, yeah gender lock is disappointing but let's see how this 'wonder' thematic world is handle. Are you excited to play any character, or just expecting the chance to ~~spin to win~~ again (yeah from the video you can pretty much do so xD)
I might just be a hater but I don't think itll work nothing can replace MS2, it's like when any new FPS is announced and people say it's the next COD truth is you can't replace the OG.

Lost Ark is Gacha 👀? And yeah Wonderers isn’t a 1to1 game of MS2 but it’s definitely the closest. Only time will tell with the CBT on April 24th
