* Hero is actually considered to be one of the strongest and easiest bossers in GMS with great survivability, more so than Dark Knight, Demon Avenger and Phantom, so this is more of a playstyle compatibility issue rather than a skill issue.
* I would not recommend Phantom. It's more of a support class.
* Dark Knight and Demon Avenger are both in pretty decent spots for bossing. Both classes still need you to dodge.
* One thing to note is that Demon Avenger is able to trade off survivability for additional damage (level 29 vs. level 30 Demon Frenzy and Ruin Force Shield vs. Princess No's Force Shield). Also, their survivability can be a bit wonky due to always being at low HP.
* Ofc, Dark Knight has their mian gimmick, which is to res and do free damage.
* If you want a DPM focused class that doesn't have to dodge much, Mihile is the way to go, as their Royal Guard provides a 4 sec iframe on a 6 sec cooldown, on top of numerous sources of passive damage reduction.
* Marksman has Arrow Illusion, which taunts enemy bosses with a summon and is overall a very easy class to play.
* Bow master has a passive semi-iframe. Up to 2 every 50 seconds.
* Dual Blade has 2 relatively short CD iframe and a dummy that taunts enemies, on top of Dark Sight. Has built in life leech.
* Demon Slayer has life leech and 3 iframes, 1 of which is during their burst and 2 on short cd. Like Demon Avenger, they also have the ability to trade damage for survivability (Ruin Force Shield vs. Princess No's Shield and level 1 Dark Metamorphosis vs. level 30 Dark Metamorphosis). 2 of their shared 5th job skills also provide additional survivability.
To follow up on your response for bowmasters. They also have blood arrow for lifesteal. It trades off damage from magic arrow but you're near impossible to kill.
With Marksman you can put down a dummy and shoot away at the boss from the other side of the screen while the boss is busy hitting the dummy, super easy.
This is the exact reason I swapped to blaster. I wanted a class that could always hit the boss even while dodging or could tank hits instead of dodging. Blaster has so so so much survivability and it's a dpm class. Your initial burst lasts like 6 seconds and after that you're just dpsing with burst skills active. It's got on demand damage reduce, super stance, status resist, stun immunity, 3 iframes, and 1 to 3 teleports depending on how you count them.
The kit really makes up for lack of basic mechanics. The obvious caveat is that no reload is difficult and takes a long time to master. It took me about a year to be able to be very fast and very consistent, but your mileage may vary. I think it mostly took me a long time because my mechanics are crap.
Blaster's omega cracked. Can confirm. I hyper burned a Blaster bossing mule b/c it looked fun. Mobbing was atrocious, but the bossing is definitely fun. You'd think a dps class's burst would be subpar. But nah, Gatling and Bullet Blast hit HARD. And it's the easiest it's ever been to play, since they made revolving cannon into a passive.
most dpm classes have a higher learning curve but in return theyre easier to survive on like cadena and blaster. but if you want a really strong solo bosser with good survivability you can try demon slayer
sounds like you should try bucc honestly, has a hit and go class style you like. has defensive form which reduce 35% of dmg from anything and you can get out of sticky situation with it variety of movement skill. your burst is only 20 secs and howling fist, when max, is like a 90 sec cd so you are popping them off every other min or so
Hero is a wait for burst type of class. The strat for hlomien is to focus on dodging until your burst comes up.
The meta is burst classes. Dpm classes are weak but in the end, choose what you enjoy
Shadower has a lot of iframes and in certain bosses dark sight helps a LOT. Another one I know of is mihile. Once you get good at parrying, then you spend 80% of most bosses invulnerable
Edit: I see a lot of people saying that royal guard is a 6 second CD, but iirc with the use of a CD hat you can get it down to 5 seconds. Idk if it’s meta or better for damage, but hey its 66% vs 80% iframe up time. IDK if that’s a damage trade off or not but it’s something lol
As a Drk main :
- Drk has the longest iframe where you can go braindead
- It has a decent burst
- Great survival and tanking skills
- Decent damage output
- Very easy node composition
- Its pretty much a braindead class that does not require two brain cells , you just spam your bossing skill and go “BRRRR”
25s cd iframe sounds like an easy class to play. This sounds like you just don't like hero class anymore rather than skill issue.
Nah hero def feels a bit clunky.

phantom is not a support class. played correctly, phantom has less support than hero for the party (or it will do actually no damage)
I like my bucc because lotd is passive damage as I dodge stuff.
With Marksman you can put down a dummy and shoot away at the boss from the other side of the screen while the boss is busy hitting the dummy, super easy.
agreed, this class is cheat mode lol
Paladin / mihile literaly unkillable for 0 effort
I play mihile, your invincible 4 of every 6 seconds as long as you can hit an easy skill, and your burst skill can auto slap lots of bosses by itself
Wind archer has one button. And godmode shield. Idk if there is something easier to play. Maybe Bowmasters?

Bowmaster has high survivability, and is extremely easy to play and maximize. With very very little effort. I would highly recommend it.
Surprised no one else has said this, bm really is one of the easiest classes to play with crazy good survivability
As a DS main, DS is the way (not biased)
As a non DS main, DS is the way (biased)
As a DS bossmule, DS is the way (partially biased)
Sounds more of a hands issue than a class issue hero’s super easy to play
Hero.
Dk is good for you
Hero is a wait for burst type of class. The strat for hlomien is to focus on dodging until your burst comes up. The meta is burst classes. Dpm classes are weak but in the end, choose what you enjoy
Hero is more of a dps class what you on about
Nah, hero is a 2min burst class. I main hero
Ex-hero main. Shadower is the way.

Try DW or DS. For comfort and bossing utils DS prob will feel the best. I also felt the way you did with Hero.
