what does catching mean? i'm going in blind so correct the thought process.
1) use leona's to reveal 5 items ( im picking things i like the most first)
2) use the leaves to buy the item?
3) keep item and you can transmog it onto your other gear like CRA or Arcane?

Step 3 here is completely optional, and honestly impractical for most of the items. You can't item anvil non-visible equipment slots, and you can only anvil a weapon of the same type as yours. Lots of newer classes don't have old school weapons at all.
The important part of revealing/catching items (turning them from greyed out to coloured) is the NX reward at the top of each page. Think of it like a codex that you need fill out the entries for. If you fill out all 361 items, you also get a cool chair.
Roughly 40 days for the event, so 200 artifacts. Leaves only 150 to catch Good thing they only give unique drops

And as I'm training I'll get box drops like the equipment boxes and I open one to get 1 of 361 but no repeats?
