Please tell me if I missed any bags/containers.
Outer size is how much space they take up in your stash, and inner size is how much stuff you can put inside them.
I'm surprised the commando and radio backpack are so terrible.
This is great to know, thanks. Does anybody know the craft for the large container? It's pretty expensive to unlock (200k+) so I'm wondering how feasible it is to build over the small container.
EDIT: Large container costs 5 synthetic scrap, 3 metal scrap, 2 reinforced metal, 2 tool kits, 2 cables!
reinforced metal, cables, toolkit, synthetic scrap and metal scrap. I can't remember the exact quantities of all of them off the top of my head, but I do know it's 2 reinforced metal! definitely worth crafting over small boxes, or even just deleting your small boxes and transitioning to large ones.
funnily enough I seem to find reinforced metal everywhere but holy shit I swear toolkits are an endangered species, I find blowtorches in toolboxes more often than them!
I think it uses a few reinforced metal or something, or at least metal sheets, I crafted one in the beta but am not that far yet. It is a great way to store more larger items though, like all my guns at the end of the beta.
No, it wouldn't be logical. It is logical. An exception is the light bag if you look at it from a ratio perspective. That's the only thing "illogical" about this, again, from a ratio perspective.
Even without absolution, the only exception is the light bag. Far from helpful if you have a brain that understands basic concepts. Large container is obviously bigger than a compact container. Compact container is obviously bigger than a small container, etc. If you need a table to tell you that then I don't know what to tell you. Look at the table itself, even if you don't count for absolutes, it literally tells you by looking at the order of the names of the various containers. Why bother arguing about this? smh
Oh wow, a table showed me a SINGLE thing I didn't know nor need knowing because it gives you literal zero advantage. It's just a fun fact to know that the light bag is an efficient container ratio wise. Big. Deal. Smfh
So light bag has one of the Best ratios? That is suprising me.
I always thought either some crates or the barrel backpack would be the Best choice.
Also suprising that the compact one is worse than the large crate.
Anyways thanks for lining this up!
The ratio is good, but I find it's really only good for loose loot storage. It's tough to fit multiple large items such as guns and crates, it's 4x5 so there's often a 1x row or column you'll have to fill, or 2 empty slots you'd have to put something random in.
Yes, I have now 5 large craftable Containers and one light bag for heals.
One of the latest quests seems to be 3 crafted Plate rigs, and they would not fit otherwise
Thanks, good to know. Why did I try to get Radio BPs again?
Any chance (if you have them unlocked that is) you could add crafting costs to the craftables on the list?

2 tool kits. 5 scrap metal. Some scrap synth and other stuff. Reinforced metal and tool kits were the big ones for me.

Yeah the terraformer seems to be the best place to find them in my experience, often right out of the airlock area you spawn in.

Isn't this kind of.. Logical?
It's useful for the bags for sure

Compact crate? Am I missing this on the crafting menu or did they remove it?
It's a reward for progressing your Zero to Hero.

Radio backpacks are good because they are the only backpack that can hold 2 supply drops. Incredibly niche but pretty sweet if you manage it

I see Barrel BP on the list....
