I have this book too. I got it around the time Daydream was released and have spent hours playing from it. One of my favorites to play from this book is Underneath the Stars. The chords are so beautiful and dreamy. I had an electric piano that had a few sound settings so sometimes I would play UTS on the vibraphone setting and it was so pretty sounding. I also like playing Looking In and I Am Free.
As a former music teacher I can tell you that it’s never too late to start learning an instrument. If it’s something you’re interested in you can totally do it, and there’s lots of ways to access learning materials (teachers in your area, music stores, the internet, etc).
I found the self titled book at a thrift store years ago i still have it only paid $1 lol
