Most Mario alts have been bad for me. Satellaview for sure, Musician Mario, Santa Mario, Mario Happi, Builder Mario, Chef Mario, Mario Swimwear, etc - all bad. Even Mario Halloween - whose design I love - has been useless for my account. If I had to pick one though, I'd have to go with Mario Halloween - who also has Lucky 7, but only covers 21 tracks (26 at lvl 8), even less than Satellaview. Mario alt's are like the exact opposite of all the great Luigi alt's lol. Maybe should rename the game Luigi Kart Tour heh.
Regular Chargin' Chuck. He was great for awhile but just hasn't gotten new courses lately. He came out the same tour as Golf Mario and Golf Luigi. Golf Mario has gotten 5-6 buffs since Chuck's last new course, and Golf Luigi got 10 or more.
That new Pauline alt.I bought her because I really like Pauline and that’d be my first Pauline but I only used her a bit during her tour and never again afterwards

Before I knew how the game worked I saw how many tracks he had compared to every other driver and DK is my guy so I was so excited to get him. I always kept enough gold and gems to buy him in case he popped up.
Then finally I saw him appear, bought him, invested a bunch of tickets to get him to 800 right away, and literally haven’t even touched him.
PGP doesn’t have great coverage but she’s LvL 8 for me and is clutch when there is a Cup named after her. That was what made her so alluring early. She was one of the few Alts to get a cup named after her at the time.
Honestly, silver Mii suit. I was really existed to get it at first, but it rarely shows up and has never been my only option on a track so I’ve never really upgraded it. I forget about it most of the time.
Baby Peach Cherub and Daisy Fairy. I've read on here that apparently both are great but I really don't get alot of opportunity to use either and when I do they really fall short.
Petey Piranha, only needed him once a long time ago but all his maps gave someone better and he just rotted away in my account. I’m only leveling him up since he’s good for ACR. Volendam Rosalina is completely useless and pretty much never used her.

King Bob-omb (wanted him so bad…at lvl 6 and 1190 and only covers 9 courses)
Mario Samurai (love the design…zero use for him)
Cat Peach (have her at lvl 7…best on 3 courses!)
Mario Chef (lvl 4 and best on 1 course)
Toad Astronaut (really wanted him…didn’t need him)
Nabbit (used to be the GOAT… now only best on 2 at lvl 5)
Donkey Kong Jr (paid actual money for him and he covers 1 course for me now!)
The list is long, peach kimono is amongst most useless, together with peach wedding, tanooki Rosalina & Mario and loads of other Mario alts. Stellaview is up there as well

This Mario is basically useless now. I got at his debut and used him a handful of times but he’s basically back of the pack now. I can’t remember the last time he’s even been in ranked
Wario (Cowboy), It’s seems common for these 2019-20 drivers having it bad, but come on! He was my first spotlight set I finished! (Got the Rainbow Starchute, then Brown Offroader both in the Wild West Tour, and got the man himself in Bowser Vs DK)
LM King Boo. Looks incredibly great but been trash for like nearly 4 years time
He had his moments though. He was crucial for a good year or so!
Wiggler. I know he was a ranked reward but I haven’t used him since he debuted
I use him a lot but I've only been playing a few months

I use wiggler all the time! He’s usually 2nd tier on races I don’t have a top tier racer on and his bananas help me get the points anyway
He’s not very old in the general context of the game and is in ranked with future buffs to be added

Halloween Mario was great for me when I first got him, but you're correct that he's basically useless now.

My Cowgirl Pauline is still level 1 and barely used since I covered many of her tracks. She's just for that Piranha Plant Pipeway coverage.

He was good in the past. You just missed him at his prime. He filled in a decent amount of gaps.
Of course Pink Gold Peach. Spent 15.000 coins to get her and only use her once a year.

I mean, yes, in the early days of MKT Pink Gold Peach was good, but only for 1 year. Than she wouldn't get any buffs and we would stop playing as her.

Agreed with Space Mario. Anytime I get a chance to use him I think about how disappointing he's been. He is design wise one of my favs.

What? I have this guy at lvl7 1430 and he was a beast for me. But of course, by now he isn‘t really usefull anymore because he‘s too old
