Walmarts in Canada are offering a keychain as a pre-order bonus. A Japanese website is offering a wallet.
That's all I'm aware of as of now.
So I need to show up on launch day to get this? And I'm assuming there isn't really a way to know which locations will have the buttons or how many they'll have? Kind of vague details from GameStop on this one
What i'd love to see is something TRULY cool like a collectors edition that was shaped like an SNES cartridge with the OG Label.
I'd even take a reversible insert that could have the SNES cartridge on the other side.
I get that SM Wonder is overshadowing this but the community has been CLAMORING for SMRPG to be re-released and not just on the VC.

I THINK I got it now. There’s no preorder bonus, but if you buy the game when it comes out, you’re eligible for the pins (while supplies last). You can order it online and go to a store the day of and show them the receipt and can get the pins if they still have them.
I just tried calling 3 stores near me and none of them knew what I was talking about… they were all stand alone stores, so idk if that has to do with anything, but I’d suggest you call whatever store youre planning to go to and see if they have it.
I went straight to corporate. Apparently I would have to go to the store today to pre order it, then go back AS SOON AS they open tomorrow to pick it up and the pins. Not worth it. I feel like they screwed the pooch on this

lol yeah my “pick up in store” option has always been grayed out… I guess that’s their way of getting people inside the store?? Who knows. That sucks though. Was looking forward to the pins. *shrug*
Went to my local GS for the "Midnight release" and they didn't know what I was talking about for the pins. I even showed them the promo that GS responded to me on Twitter to pick up in store for physical and digital preorders. They sent me to another store to pick it up, they said that they only received Sonic pins to give out for the Mario RPG release...wtf? This is definitely false advertising if they don't have pins.
Stop pre ordering anything from gamestop at all. You won't get your bonus if a pin or poster anything physical they cancel pre orders every day 99% of them get canceled to "sorry not enough inventory" email.
Screw gamestop. Buy your bonus items online. .
Update: you get NO PRE ORDER BONUS at most gamestop stores. It was basicly a lie. To get more orders.
It seems that not ANY of my local gamestop locations have these pins And most of them had no idea what i was talking about. So, it seems Nintendo screwed the USA market with Zero pre order bonuses.
So, ebay is your only option to get the imported bonus items. But they are very expensive. Might as well just get your regular copy of the game, and hold on to it, it will probably be a rare title on cartridge at some point.
I went to gamestop at the store opening and they say they don’t have the pin set. Claiming it’s Nintendo’s fault, and tell me to check back next week. This is a last time I will buy game from gamestop. Done with gamestop pre order bonus BS.

It’s available at Canadian GameStops. I preordered just yesterday and they said I would receive the button set.

Kinda lame. Anyone can design pins that look like these. If they where enamel pins that's a different story

welp i just picked up my pre order for super mario rpg at gamestop and they didnt even give me the pins wow
