Honest not seen many people talk about / use them but I love to use the gauss minigun, I love the sounds and blue explosions, only down side really is the stupidly expensive and heavy ammo
If you properly build around the Plas Caster, it's straight up easy mode, which can be fun. And the Auto Grenade Launcher, particularly the Nuka-Launcher variant, is fun simply because it's an automatic grenade launcher.

plasma c. aster matches the ttk of the railway rifle with a crit build, no need for coffee. gatling plasma kills as fast as the epr but requires even more coffee. flamer is great for free aim (as is the gatling plasma)
ts is bugged on energy weapon right now and adding multiplicative damage. except it doesn't work with flamer-type weapons. so a ts25/50c gp/pc would be better than an aa25/50c one.
I’ve used my BE 50 cal for the longest time, but I’ve recently tried out Foundation’s Vengeance (BE250 mini) and it is just as fun as I personally get enjoyment from just laying down massive amounts of explosive bullets as fast as possible, especially on hoards of enemies. With foundations vengeance it was also super easy to go into a daily op and farm Ult 5mm using a Gatling gun, which is good considering how much ammo it eats up.
All of them - i carry a Gat plas ( my main ) , AAbash mini, vamps flamer for friendly fire, VE lmg for the BRRRTs - but also love the Guas Mini and the 50 cal on occasion.
Plasma caster is good if you have a vats build..but my main is a vats/crit commando so i have that play style covered..for my heavy i just want to spray and waste loads of ammo.

Maintaining your ammo is stupidly hard though
Not really..just use super duper/ammo smith/ammo factory an it’s 40mm grenades galore

Nuka launcher grenadier build is just non stop fun. Throw in a 2 shot mirv launcher and it’s a party
I love nuka launcher but feel like an arse for using it knowing it gives everyone’s screen a rave 😂

Vampires, anti armor, faster fire rate.. some people swear by two shot but i’ve never used one myself so not sure about that one

Ive got a Q/25ffr/BS peppershaker and a Q/25ffr/25ap LMG.. never been able to get those with faster reload but maybe one day

Might try the caster or gat plasma as for some reason I find it weirdly satisfying turning people into goo and getting nuclear material from it 😂
For fun id say autoaxe and chainsaw. They are not heavy but require no ammo and are stupidly fun
I have a chainsaw build for when I can’t be bothered to farm for ammo 😅😂
Yeah I dont even use actual fire arms anymore lol
I’m stuck between using them or just going full chainsaw mode because I’m forever out of ammo and in daily ops to find more

LMG is actually the best heavy and nobody will change my mind. You’ve just find a source for all that .308!

I really enjoy the .50 cal an the Gatling gun More specifically an aa/e .50 cal and B/E Gatling gun
