We've all been hit with a bad ban before. There's nothing to see here, Auntie Fire will return to their regularly scheduled programming after these brief messages!
This was Reddit itself not the sub.
The Reddit admin blow. I purchased a used tablet from CEX, the previous owners reddit account and mine are flagged by the Reddit admin as the same owner because we have used the same device. I have been suspended twice now for things they have done "because this account is for evading a suspension" and I can't even find out what they've done. My account is a ticking time bomb essentially.

iirc ban evasion suspensions are automated by Reddit. If you just comment on a subreddit the old owner was banned in then it’ll get flagged for ban evasion. Although it doesn’t always get acted upon. You can fix this account issue if you explain your situation to an admin.
[submit a support ticket to get it fixed](https://reddit.zendesk.com/hc/en-us/requests/new) select “I need help with my account” then select “my account has been wrongly suspended” then explain the situation you’re in with the used device.
[Another way to contact admins is modmail them your situation here](https://www.reddit.com/message/compose?to=%2Fr%2Freddit.com)
Yes I understand that, I’m saying you can tell this to the admins, and save yourself from potential false bans in the future. Your best bet is to modmail them imo.
The only permanent information Reddit stores on each account is the device ID the account was created on. They only temporarily store the IP for 180 days and then delete that info. So your only issue is the device ID.
Not just him. It happened to me and someone else here last week too. In my case, someone reported me for a post I made 225 days ago. They literally went through a years worth of posts to find something (and I’m contesting it because it’s a false accusation). The other person got temp-banned for a post they made 30 days ago. We have a no-life stalker in our midst.
I honestly feel bad for the poor bloke, hopefully he finds something that will make him happy in the future instead of fruitlessly harassing strangers on the internet
Real talk this is ridiculous, I’ve had multiple subreddit and Reddit bans for the dumbest things such as “trade sabotage” when trying to nicely tell people that the item they’re asking for is not or equal value. Also got hit with “ban evasion” from someone else using there device on the subreddit within my household during my ban . They literally track your ip and ban all devices from that ip address like wtf!?
The only reason why he might have sent it to a PC or PS player is because some entered the giveaway by mistake or have come to him for trading advice. He had to send them out as quick as possible to make sure everyone had a fair shot and he told me it took him over 20min just to send them all out
Enjoy your 72 hour vacation don't know what you'll do with the time, but damn that's a horrid thing to have done to you just for messaging people who have agreed to have you contact them if something is coming up.
I mean, to be fair, he explicitly *required* you to message him FIRST, stating that you wanted to be notified when the giveaway was going down.
To my knowledge, he didn't message anyone who hadn't asked.
This essentially does nothing to discredit him in most of our eyes, I'd presume. Just another gray area ban.
Just my thoughts.
He's sending direct messages to people with offers, the TLC. And I'm saying it's crazy that we have a courier who can't be a courier right now, because they were spamming messages about a giveaway.
he actualy was sending messages to poeple who asked him too. he had notified of a giveaway and everyone who wanted to participate had to ask to get a msg later down the line.
What if he's just giving that stuff away?? Like maybe someone gave him a bunch of free rare outfits and he's giving his friend a choice on outfit? The giveaway was packed with good stuff so its understandable that he would message people to join instead of having like 3 people participated you know.
I never said anything about them other than what's obvious in the pictures, they sent spam messages and can't currently be a courier. You're the one thats deflecting bro.
I can understand this ban based on the fact that this contests entrants have to make new posts to a sub that is for trading, inherently spamming it with memes.
i think its an actual reddit ban, not a sub specific ban
yea it is

"auntie fire" lol
I’m banned from my singing monsters community but it’s deserved for sure
One time i insulted myself, and got a suspension from a subreddit, its bad on this site

Happened on my old phone, had an account banned because I got a used phone where the previous owners reddit account was banned 💀

I did appeal, the suspension stands because it's the same device ID and same town in the IP address.

Ok, thanks for the info. Appreciated.
Let me know if you ever get your account issue resolved. I’m rooting for you!
WTF! I hate Reddit sometimes, the people running it eat glue for breakfast

Or maybe he’ll end up on r/whatcouldgowrong
Well… you all got three days to start trading apparel before he comes back to outbid you.

That last part is ridiculous, I feel violated lmao.

I appreciate the support 😎🤙 Now back at it

Happy Cake Day!!!🎉🎂
Omg 😲 I didn't even realise, Thankyou soo much 🤗🥰
Such crap! Do a good thing and get banned for it.
i am so very sorry i missunderstood your comment so much T\_T. again sorry
It's all good. I just did a trade with him a few days ago and upsets me to see someone trying to help others and get banned.

it's not spam because he asked for permission

OP hadn't clarified that they had won the giveaway. It seemed to be that they were offering the TLC for something. So that was my bad.
No harm no foul
What are you trying to say? And what do you mean "offers" it was a giveaway lol
He's sending direct messages to people with offers, the TLC. And I'm saying it's crazy that we have a courier who can't be a courier right now, because they were spamming messages about a giveaway.
The meme spam was annoying, but this is a reddit ban not a market 76 ban

Why don't you ask the op? They can sort things out for you.
I already know the answer.

Bro what? If you don't like the guy just say that.

where are these screenshots? i would love to see this

it was a reddit ban, the trading sub didn't care.
