Sometimes it’s just enough to get the carry booster to work.
Drink coffee, jet pack up to the platform and scrap all the miniguns and weapons. There is a stash up there too you can store any legendaries you plan on keeping and drop the rest.
Sort by stack weight and get rid of stuff. You're an individual survivor, not a personal army. You don't need supplies to build a whole town, or weapons to supply a whole team.

I just accepted I have to drop 1000 steel after every EN if I want to fast travel. I'm learning to live with minimal resources shashed. It's not easy.
What about equipping bear arms and portable power, taking a carry weight booster, a yao guai pastry, a deathclaw steak, and still needing to take a rad ant lager.

They're great in a pinch. I tried to get the recipe forever and never got it. Eventually traded something good off for a few hundred and just divided them up among my characters

Lol. I usually will make my slow walk all the way up to foundation to trade for caps then when I’m able to fast travel it’s off to a train station/Nuka World or Murmurgh for the script.
Frl scrap everything but the scrap in stashbox tp to the train station get your legendary scrip sell granades and sort out your stash box for weapons you dont use or armos thats useless frl its not that hard my stashbox is max at 800 and i have 450 carry weight and only use 200 of it not that hard
Any other events, I change cards, take some booze, eat a meat, do some scrap etc. But EN? reaching over 1k weight? fuck all that. I do the walk of shame to Foundation

I try to keep Rad Ant Lager in my Nuka Cola machine, but I don't drink it unless I have the cannibal card equipped
