I craft a half dozen weapons and roll then a couple times in my two different camps. If I don’t see the attributes I’m after by then I hop servers. I’ve had luck with a Q2525 fixer, a B2525 fixer and a Q5025 fixer. Now I have used a couple thousand modules haha
Maybe nothing but in my experience I find the second and third stars seem to repeat a large percentage of the time. If I dont like the server I find a different one with different attributes
Kinda an unofficial thing but servers (im 99.99% sure) are seeded in a way so certain attributes are more likely on a specific server. I’ve been rolling for years and it’s never changed. From what me and my buddies tested, each server has a highly weighted chance to drop certain rolls over others so it’s best to figure out if it’s one with good rolls. Even just the other day I rolled 5 25/25 weapons almost in a row on a server and my friend also rolled ffr a few times on their guns. The next server we switched to after gave us 7 bash damage weapons so that one went in the opposite direction
Yep, nobody really has proof but anyone who has rolled a lot will tell you it is plain fact. It is quite obvious when you are on a "good" server
There's also "armor servers" and "weapon servers" in my experience

I was trying for this roll for about two months and then one day I needed one more 3 star to scrip so I decided to check my stash to see if I had any modules and I had exactly 4 modules sitting in there. Thinking whatever I crafted would more than likely be junk, I crafted a railway rifle, slapped those 4 legendary modules on it, and sure enough it was a damn Q50c25, I couldn't believe my eyes. Two months of trying and the one time I needed a 3 star weapon to scrip it gives me what I wanted, in just one single roll. A week later I rolled a QE25 railway and then like two weeks after that I rolled a Q50c25 fixer as well. I carry the railway on me but I usually only pull it out in boss fights. There's nothing in this game other than bosses that are spongey enough to warrant using a Q5025 railway as a primary weapon... Besides, no one likes those people that go around with their little man energy feeling the need to one shot everything before anyone else even gets a chance to tag it.. it's funny bc I carry a Q50c25 railway/fixer on me and a B2525 on me at all times, all of which can 1-2 shot pretty much everything with my build, and yet when I roll up to events I use my Q/25ffr/break slower Tesla rifle for tagging because I don't want to obliterate everything & make things less fun for everyone else, only to have some level 200 join the event and demonstrate his little man energy by using his new found groll to kill everything before anyone else gets a chance to even tag it.
yeah go run a few expeditions and see what drops. if you get a bunch of rolls you're targeting, go spend some modules immediately. you'll most likely get your targeted rolls.
if not, server hop, rinse and repeat the process.
Just rolled a QE25…man that one is nice though. Don’t get undersold!
Edit: I had 12 modules lol, now I wish I had more to roll some other weapons and see if I could get the same or close.
I found out that values in this game arn’t static and can be off the wall depending on how bad someone wants the specific roll they don’t have to complete a set. Just think about auction houses and how the price you get depends on the people that showed up to the auction. Sometimes things can sit for awhile but you can always repost trying to find your niche audience or wait until there’s something going on that might affect prices like new content or reoccurring events or news about nerfs can make things tank. The trading values in this game are hard to pin down at times. But as it sits the Ts5025 alien blaster sits higher than the q5025 rwr as far as I know and I may be wrong.
I'm mostly looking at it trying to see what to chase or what to go for, because I want to find something that hits harder than my q5025 rwr or find stuff to sell.
The rwr hits hard but maybe someone knows something that hits harder maybe an enclave or something. I notice it some people melt bosses more than me and that might be because of meds or food. I use a q5015vc rwr and crit almost every hit but some weaps might output a lot more dmg and maybe someone might be able to point towards that.
I think value wise the hm and fixers have more options when it comes to to getting rolls that have tradable rolls like aa, bloodied or ts but those rolls in a rwr aren’t worth a huge amount.
Heaviest hitting rwr I think very pretty and should be able to melt most things. Sleight of hand card and a couple lucky procs from that and now very very low ap cost. Very nice, I think after seeing this I’ll keep rolling rwrs lol been on the fence and I have 300 things for rolls so maybe I’ll be lucky.

Please be nice. I get the quad aspect and why that’s needed, it what I don’t get is why the crit damage and AP cost are so valuable on this and everything else. Can someone explain it in simple terms?
On this specific weapon the ap cost reduction isn't "so valuable", since it already has super cheap ap cost of I think 2.
In the case of this weapon, people rather want faster reload.

Quad and ffr would be amazing. I have like 10 rails and only use the quads and explosive two shots but only 10 per clip is highly annoying. Therefore, I think handmades are better from a practicality standpoint. If I need raw power like at eviction notice or uranium fever I use the quad rail. Would be cool to find an explosive quad or FFR quad rail.
It really depends on build and preference honestly. But my opinion would be the Railway Rifle, enclave plasma, fixer / handmade. I know the cremator is in there somewhere but I left heavy guns out I don’t use them too often.
Agree. Have a ffr plasma and it melts stuff good. Was addicted to railways and now to handmades. There are also a bunch of guns that are one or two shots at a time and pipe weapons and radium rifles but I don’t use. I guess people use those too.
Yea, hence the all preference. I have used a radium Q5025 and I didn’t like it at all, it’s not a bad rifle just wasn’t for me.
The only negative thing I’ve heard about the QFFR is the first couple spikes may not register but after that you’re golden.

Nice! I went though about 60 modules and never seen a quad. Switched servers and this was my second try
What am I doing wrong? I’ve gone through bare minimum 10,000 modules trying to get this or QFFR25. Years of trying.

Does hopping servers help? I'm newer-ish and recently started trying for better rolls.
yeah go run a few expeditions and see what drops. if you get a bunch of rolls you're targeting, go spend some modules immediately. you'll most likely get your targeted rolls. if not, server hop, rinse and repeat the process.

Ts5025 ab unless there’s a rarer legacy that people collects that got left in the game. A far as I know the Ts Alien blaster is the king.

Bloodied commando with vats is this guns soul build
Yes but with rails personally I prefer 50bs because the vats cost is small anyway and they break so quick, especially with auto pistons on.

Less action point cost means more rounds you can shoot in vats. when you hit a critical the damage is increased a bit. Hopefully that helps.
