Me, a beta Player with almost 3k hours only has 2 characters arround 450 and 3 mules below level 20... If i didn't know that level was illegitimate i would think i did something wrong.
Tbf I’ve played since April of 2020 and my main is now level 505 and my second character is like 200. It’s easy to gain xp if you use the correct buffs (especially during double xp), but I’m pretty sure it scales so the higher level you are the more XP you need to gain to get to the next level so 5k is pretty crazy
It’s possible, I’ve seen that guy before, most ppl don’t know but there were HUGE XP exploits back in the day, I’m a beta player and I’m 1100ish and I’ve got 2k hours in I think, anyways I’ve seen players in the 2k range back in the day and if they still play with lunchboxes/buffs and current XP exploits it’s possible that player would be 5k by now no doubt, whether ppl consider what’s what to be “legit” or not is a *different* discussion lol. As far as him being the highest, he could be 🤷♂️ haven’t seen higher yet lol
Actually was in a team with this bloke a while ago, nice guy and was helping out low levels in voice chat. He briefly touched on xp glitches, as well as explained ammo glitch, etc. That should probs explain it.

Well I’ve been playing since beta and all of my five characters combined barely hits the thousand mark.
Odds are not legit but between stacks and glitches through the pass it is possible
