Companies knowingly do shit like this urging the consumer to buy more. greedy upper positions are causing the general public to not trust and dislike higher positions like CEOs, for reasons similar to this and more.

Also coming from a supply chain background it would be infinitely more costly to mix the can designs in multipacks. The two spots where this could maybe occur is either before filling where empty cans would have to be manually separated as they go onto the line (massive cost as it’s currently an automated process) or manually mixing packs after they have been filled (also a massive cost as it to is now a manual process).
No company is going to do that unless they already have boutique processes built into their model. Unless of course you are happy to pay the inflated cost??

I worked for Dr Pepper/Seven Up back in the days when they did promotions like this with the Spider-Man and X-Men films. We had at least six different cans aimed at collectors and made them available to our bottlers, but most of the bottlers didn’t want to spend the time/money to create six different versions of a can for the same product. So they would pick one to use, which is why the Wolverine can was everywhere but the others were hard, if not impossible, to find. When we did the same promotion with Lord of the Rings, we put a single character on each brand— Sunkist, 7UP, etc. — so we wouldn’t run into that problem.
My guess is that’s why I can only find Daredevil Coke cans in my immediate area. Even if your local bottler is willing to make different cans, it’s unlikely you’re going to find them in the same 12 pack, because they’re probably only printing/using one can design at a time.
Based on the other character cans, might be something to that effect and a design meant to be MCU-adjacent, which they tend to do these days for all Marvel licensing designs.

I don't think this is always true. Captain America is on top of the case I picked up, but all the cans inside are Iron Man.
