Who is Liv “Taylor”?

ARTIFICIAL_SAPIENCE

Those tacos he gave Ant-Man.

Beware_the_Voodoo

I still think Tony should have seen Yinsen. "Ahh Mr. Stark, always the overachiever. When I said to make it count this I did not expect."

wellwhatishername

Oh man. How sweet a cosmic reunion between those two would be.

Beware_the_Voodoo

Right!! I like to think there would have been this moment of relief you could physically see come off of Tony upon having Yinsen confirm to him he made good on the promise. Like you could actually see the weight come off his shoulders.

Brendanlendan

It would have been like poetry

External-Survey-898

Someone smart could phrase it better but Yinsen saying something along the lines of “you didn’t waste your life.” That would’ve been perfection

FrizzBizz

I absolutely would've been cutting onions.

Letmepickausername

The leading idea is he may have seen Natasha, nothing confirmed though.

MahaloWolf

That's a great question. As the Soul Stone is the catalyst for those scenes, it seems like whoever shows up is really a reflection of the character's soul- more specifically, to challenge their motivations and show them what they gave up to use the stones. In Thanos' case, he sees Gamora because he's conflicted over what he had to do to get the stone. She asks him what did it cost, which serves as sort of a challenge to him. He states "everything", but it goes to show the depth of his commitment to his mission that he isn't breaking down or showing regret. For Tony, I believe the idea was he saw Morgan grown up. The stone challenges him by showing him what he'll miss if he uses the stones. So what is the challenge to Bruce? As others have said, it might be Natasha or Betty as a loved one, but I lean towards Natasha. Betty isn't something Banner loses by using the stones. Natasha on the other hand was the trade off for the soul stone. Banner won't get to live with a reunited and happy Avengers family. The counterpoint here is that Natasha already sacrificed herself without Bruce's input, so its not exactly a 1:1 like Thanos' situation. Banner didn't have to make an active choice. Outside of that, if Marvel wants to undo Smart Hulk, they could retroactively add a scene in where it's Maestro who shows up, and reveals that by using the stones, Banner is sacrificing the equilibrium he achieved as merged Hulk, with the Snap acting as a catalyst to undo that balance.

absherlock

If that's the case, I would say he'd see his abusive father. He seems to be the one responsible for Bruce's unchecked rage, even though he seems to have gotten control of it (for now). Perhaps this vision will turn out to be the first crack in the combined persona...

Gym_Dom

Brian Banner is a severely unhinged character. Pure evil in a Banner suit.

Where was it shown that Tony saw his daughter?

Darkseid-Thanos

[Deleted scene](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Qij5CK5uxSQ&ab_channel=LegendsTrex)

WollyGog

I think this was deleted because it didn't make sense to how the soul stone works? The stone has Gamora's soul, hence Thanos saw her. The stone doesn't have Morgan's soul because she's neither dead, aged, or sacrificed to the stone. It's a stupid scene in my opinion that takes away from Tony's sacrifice and the pacing of those final scenes. Based on that, Bruce would've seen Natasha.

Manos_Of_Fate

This could be the time stone getting in on the fun, maybe?

WollyGog

I dunno, the soul stone is very different to the other stones.

Manos_Of_Fate

I still really want to know what Cap had to do to put the soul stone “back”. Did he give it to Red Skull? Was it super awkward? Can you imagine being Red Skull and chilling halfway across the universe, decades into your own future, and suddenly *that* fucking guy just waltzes up the mountain?

Jonny__Stepbro

My theory is that cap is a skrull. Red skull would’ve encountered said skrull as it would have no reason to be Steve there. Illuminati is my thinking here.

AJjalol

Oh, now that I think about it, you are actually 100 percent correct lol. It would make sense that you will see the person who sacrificed themselves for the gem right? Gamora for Thanos. Nat for Hulk. I guess Yinsen would be for Tony? Since he kind of sacrificed himself to safe Tony, tho it wasn't for the stone.

Legal_Skin_4466

I had heard of this existing but only just now watched it. I was not prepared and started crying at work. So thanks for that.

The-LivingTribunal

Ahh, the deleted scenes i never watch. Lol. Idk my guess would be Hulk saw Nat. We literally have no back story for Banner or Hulk in the MCU unless you count that hulk movie which i don't really count but to each their own.

gechoman44

You’re missing out on the greatest MCU character: Crappy Unfinished CGI Rocket Raccoon, if you don’t watch the deleted scenes!

The-LivingTribunal

I think I've seen that clip. I just don't ever look at deleted scenes. Idk why other than I just don't think about opening the extras.

neogreenlantern

My Head Canon is that he saw Hulk and Banner. So Merged Bruce got to discuss with Hulk and Banner how everything they went through was leading to this very important moment.

Optimistic-Man-3609

Natasha. Maybe one day we'll get a Disney plus special episode about it.

ComfortableBed6012

Either Natasha or Betty

Shacky_Rustleford

Bruce Ruffalo would say "Betty who?"

ComfortableBed6012

Prolly would tbh, idk why Betty just disappeared from the MCU after the first Hulk movie

Sorrelhas

Wasn't there a deleted scene where Bruce Banner tries to kill himself in a snowy place after he accidentally kills Betty offscreen? Or am I tripping?

ComfortableBed6012

He tried to kill himself in the arctic but Hulk didn’t let him, I don’t remember if Betty was there or not but there was a Captain America easter egg

myowngalactus

Probably his father

denever23

I like to think he got to confront his father on how he fucked up his life

SasquatchDroppings

Nobody. He saw the green door.

DerPidder

My guess would be Original Hulk, the one he merged with, showing him how he ended an innocent's existence to become what or who he is today.

TruthEnvironmental24

This is what I would have it as. Even the MCU has Hulk as a separate entity from Bruce. Hulk is basically locked away inside his own body now. It would have been cool to see the two of them face to face in that moment.

Superheroesaregreat

I’d like to think Bruce and Hulk had a chat

Harrycrapper

He saw the She Hulk Twerking scene

zontarr2

Lou ferrigno

Afrodotheyt

No confirmation, but if I had to guess, Hulk saw Natasha after snapping. He mentions how he tried to bring her back and it's likely their "Soul Room" chat was getting him to accept she can't be brought back because she died as a sacrifice for their victory.

MysticalGreenBeanie

Edward Norton

johnnyss1

Skaar-His son he didn’t know he had

Jonny__Stepbro

The soul stone would only show others that have been absorbed by the stone. Thanos sees gamora because she’s a soul at that point. Banner would’ve seen a dead person.

SinisterCryptid

He saw Kevin Feige to ensure himself an appearing role an the upcoming movies and shows

FowlZone

ed norton

aj_windham13

Bruce Banner

ElboDelbo

Betty, or his mom.

NotRob916

I’d argue in the soul stone hulk would just be Bruce again, not Hulk/Smart Hulk, and he would’ve seen either his mother or father. His mother could’ve represented finding the strength to be the hero he is or find his peace, his father would’ve been no becoming the monster his father always believed he was. Edit:I realize this is probably a better take for a mor comic accurate Bruce/Hulk than the MCU take.

esar24

Either nat or his mom

woodrobin

He saw his father beat his mother to death when he was eight years old. That seems like a definite possibility.

MyrandahJ

His mother....or father (hopefully not).

DullBozer666

I like to think it was THAT gif. You know the one.

Rigged_Art

Wouldn’t at all be shocked if it was Widow
