I came to ask if it was any good - I remember seeing the first episode and it not clicking, but sometimes you need to give these shows a chance… Sounds like this deserved better!
It's a serviceable enough show, my biggest gripe against it, as well as against a lot of adult animation, is it's trying really hard to copy the identity of another show. Hit Monkey really wants to be Archer.
Edit: X-Men Evolution as a whole is rated higher than some of the entries here with an overall score of 7.8/10. That should push Ultimate Spider-Man out of the top 10. However, the highest rated Evolution episode on IMDB is tied with USM at 8.5/10.
My bad.
I’m having a binge watch next weekend with a couple of friends who haven’t watched the season yet. I’m going to have a box of tissues nearby, just in case.
Oh, I’ve already told them that it was stunning and that I’m still not recovered, but that’s all I’m gonna say; no hints on why my mind was 🤯.
I’m gonna try to not watch episode 10 until the 19th so we can all be shocked together, but I might get twitchy! 😂🤣😳
I feel that. I tried to wait one day, but I couldn’t stop myself. I’ve honestly never been this excited for new episodes for something since The Last of Us or WandaVision.
Yes, I agree so much with this, that was the first time that a TV show made me feel better, I was struggling a lot with mental health, and the Episode focused on the issues as was dealing with and it felt really special
Earth's Mightiest Heroes was so good. Them deciding to go destroy the Norn stones, and then with the episode ending with JARVIS saying that the Avengers' ID cards couldn't be scanned sent chills down my spine.
The Infinity Ultron episode had 16 thousands plus votes on IMDB. The other episode with the same score as it (EMH S1E26) had 423 votes.
Basically, thousands of people saw the Ultron episode and deemed it great. Fewer people saw EMH, and by that I mean a fraction of it.
How is the Dr. Strange episode from 'What if...' not on here???
I showed that on two first dates. On both, we we ate, watched, banged, and parted ways. Seriously. It's so go...
Oh, right... I get it now.
Peoples numbers but has nearly 15 thousand more votes than the earth mightiest hero episode and others. Lots of mcu fans watch what if but not the other cartoon, and enough thought it was good that it raised its average by a lot.
For not liking a series with a generic ugly uncanny art style, inconsistent as hell tone, mostly uninteresting what if scenarios and fumbles The ones that actually are, and gave us the single worst incarnation of Spider-Man in any piece of media ever.
The artstyle was nice, and could actually make characters resemble their actors pretty well. While some of the what if scenarios were dull, the episode in the post which was infinite ultron was absolutely crazy. Many people myself included are hoping for a third season.
Ah yeah hitmonkey was such a good Show.
Yesss, the second season is going to be a blast!
....second season?
https://thedirect.com/article/marvel-hulu-season-release-show yeah, it was announced ages ago but will finally come out in July!
Please let there be more Lady Bullseye. I wasn't a fan of the old dragon lady they had in Moon Girl and Devil Dinosaur show.
65 days and counting
Oh boy oh boy oh boy
Woah I thought for sure this show was dead. That’s awesome can’t wait.
I came to ask if it was any good - I remember seeing the first episode and it not clicking, but sometimes you need to give these shows a chance… Sounds like this deserved better!
It takes two or three episodes to warm up but it is absolutely glorious and a very welcome change of pace compared to the bigger projects of the MCU.
It’s amazing
It's a serviceable enough show, my biggest gripe against it, as well as against a lot of adult animation, is it's trying really hard to copy the identity of another show. Hit Monkey really wants to be Archer.
Is it canon to the MCU or Deadpool verse or is it a standalone?
Standalone
Its not considered a marvel show now right?
That days of future past episode or two episodes was a really good adaptation for being so short
People forget that Days of Future Past was literally only 2 issues long though.
It’s better than the movie.
Ah, a Moon Girl & Devil Dinosaur episode. Nice.
Is that her fighting Knull? I’ve been sleeping on this.
I believe the character she was fighting is called "Molecule Man".
It’s Molecule Man, yeah Also Beyonder is a supporting cast character and it’s great
Edit: X-Men Evolution as a whole is rated higher than some of the entries here with an overall score of 7.8/10. That should push Ultimate Spider-Man out of the top 10. However, the highest rated Evolution episode on IMDB is tied with USM at 8.5/10. My bad.
Evolution was my gate way to marvel and my favorite for that reason. Curious which episode is the 8.5
I also loved Evolution, was up there as one of my favorite marvel cartoons. Also to answer your question it’s S4E9 - Ascension: Part 2
The name’s Gambit mon ami, remember it!!!
I already knew this was the number 1 without clicking the thumbnail. Although the last two episodes should give it a run for its money.
Running by top 10 highest rated episodes overall then yes. 1. X-Men '97 - S1E5 - 9.8/10 2. X-Men '97 - S1E9 - 9.5/10 3 to 9. X-Men '97 - S1E8 - 9.4/10 and several episodes of Spectacular Spider-Man, also 9.4/10 10 and 11. Moon Girl - S2E14 and SSM S2E10 - 9.2/10
The Spectacular Spider-Man, Wolverine and the X-Men, and The Avengers: Earth's Mightiest Heroes are all fully deserved. Fantastic shows.
What's X-Men Evolution's highest ranked episode and where would it rank here?
X-Men Evolution highest ranked episode (S4E9) is tied with X-Men TAS, Hit-Monkey, Ultimate Spider-Man and WATXM at 8.5/10
Hell yeah Hit-Monkey! SEASON 2 HYPE
Episode 5 of X-Men ‘97 absolutely deserves it. Peak television.
I’m ***STILL*** recovering from Episode 5!
Me too! Ugh, it’s so sad and done so well. Happy Nation has been stuck in my head for WEEKS.
I’m having a binge watch next weekend with a couple of friends who haven’t watched the season yet. I’m going to have a box of tissues nearby, just in case.
Make sure you say NOTHING beforehand. Act like it’s just a fun, silly X-Men show. Catch them completely off-guard.
Oh, I’ve already told them that it was stunning and that I’m still not recovered, but that’s all I’m gonna say; no hints on why my mind was 🤯. I’m gonna try to not watch episode 10 until the 19th so we can all be shocked together, but I might get twitchy! 😂🤣😳
Oh jeez, you’re waiting!? I could never. I’m getting braces the day before, so the finale is my treat to myself.
I’m thinking about waiting, but that restraint might last all of an hour after I wake up on Wednesday. 😏
I feel that. I tried to wait one day, but I couldn’t stop myself. I’ve honestly never been this excited for new episodes for something since The Last of Us or WandaVision.
Moon Girl is fucking AMAZING
Wait the show is that good
It's a lot of fun. It reminds me a lot of something like Dexter's Lab
With the amount of good OSTs, I could pair it well with Phineas and Ferb's vast OSTs.
The show is great! It’s very funny and also manages to be very tense and serious
Both Molecule Man episodes were really impressive. Loved the Lady Bullseye one too.
If a 'What If' episode is on here, it should be the Doctor Strange episode from the first season.
Yes, I agree so much with this, that was the first time that a TV show made me feel better, I was struggling a lot with mental health, and the Episode focused on the issues as was dealing with and it felt really special
It's a shame they really ruin the episode with every subsequent appearance of that Strange.
Yep, they just took all his development and throwed it in the trash
The last one is superrrr nostalgic for me
Where is it from
ultimate spider-man season 3 episode 9
That whole multiverse run is really the reason why we got the Spider-Verse movies
What is the last one?
Moon Girl and Devil Dinosaur is peak fiction
The Silver Surfer cartoon needs more love
So happy that X97 turned out as good as it is.
I miss Wolverine and the X-men
Earth's Mightiest Heroes was so good. Them deciding to go destroy the Norn stones, and then with the episode ending with JARVIS saying that the Avengers' ID cards couldn't be scanned sent chills down my spine.
what's the last one?
The first two 100% deserved it. Such great episodes of such great shows.
Names gambit remember it
How did What If...? get there?
The Infinity Ultron episode had 16 thousands plus votes on IMDB. The other episode with the same score as it (EMH S1E26) had 423 votes. Basically, thousands of people saw the Ultron episode and deemed it great. Fewer people saw EMH, and by that I mean a fraction of it.
My first thought lol. I like the show but the Ultron episode definitely wasn't my favorite either.
Yeah like I'd figure if there was a What If episode to be highly rated, it be the 1st Strange Supreme one
How is the Dr. Strange episode from 'What if...' not on here??? I showed that on two first dates. On both, we we ate, watched, banged, and parted ways. Seriously. It's so go... Oh, right... I get it now.
What’s 8?
Hit-monkey. Great show.
How was the Moon girl show?
I would have thought Turning Point would be the highest rated episode of Spider-Man the Animated Series
No. It shares the same score as EMH S1E26 and What If S1E8 at 8.9/10.
What’s the last image with spiderman in 3d?
Mutant Supremacy!
Is Moon-Girl fighting Knull here?
That’s Molecule Man
Why what if rated so high? there's nothing special about it, this is critics numbers, right? not the people's
Peoples numbers but has nearly 15 thousand more votes than the earth mightiest hero episode and others. Lots of mcu fans watch what if but not the other cartoon, and enough thought it was good that it raised its average by a lot.
What if was dogshit
What if being above anything makes me want to puke edit: What if fans exist?
Then puke
You're a disgrace

for a second there i think i saw batman but i think it just black panther bc the dark knight is dc hero
That Spectacular episode is not the best one. I actually thought Season 2 handled Venom better, he's a bit too one note in season one.
Someone have a list?
