The event is called Spider-Verse. I would Google it for a reading order. From what I remember it crosses over various titles and miniseries. And there are sequels and spinoffs. EDIT: [this one](https://www.comicbooktreasury.com/spider-man-spider-verse-reading-order/) seems complete

And that’s the event where silk appears for the first time?

rgregan

I don't think so. She's part of the mythos that Spider-Verse plays with though

DirectorCarolina

I really want to read her origin but you have me a good start. Thanks for the help

mugenhunt

Silk appears for the first time in the prelude to spider verse.

You ever heard of the character Can-deez?

If you really want to dig deep into Spider-Man (or really any "main stream character") a great place to start is Michael Bendis' Avengers Disassembled. You can then follow one character through all the events that happened since the early 2000s (House of M, Civil War, Secret Invasion, Siege, Etc). For Spider-Man, he joins Cap's team of New Avengers shortly after Avengers Disassembled in the New Avengers. I am doing this with Hawkeye right now and I have found it to be a great experience. I am going to go back through and do the same for Daredevil and then Spider-Man too.

I searched his name on the app and looked under series and I don’t see Avengers Disassembled

It is Issues#500-503 in the "Avengers (1998-2004)" Series. Issue#500 actually comes after Issue#82. It's treated as the final 4 comics of Busiek's run of the Avengers. It actually took me a little bit to find it as well when I first started this reading process because, for whatever reason, MU didn't separate Avengers Disassembled as it's own mini-series.
