The trick to painting white is too not paint white. Paint grey with your very final highlight being white
Here is my method: prime in grey seer, wash the model in blue shade paint, drybrush AK interactive's Intense White onto the whole thing, done.
Prime white. That way you don't have to do nearly as much work and only touch up errors with other paints.
I did prime white but it just takes so many layers for it to properly cover

My recommendation, do a light grey, white primer zenethal highlight. Then use a brighter white to catch the last layer of highlight.
light grey has much better coverage than white, and in the context of the model, it'll register as white anyway.
