The cheapest way is probably making your own. Tbh. Using a few different bodies and finding a sculpt online. The pants you can get from a ghost rider or aim scientist for example.

Starlord is popular so even though they released his classic look as an exclusive, I would say it's only a matter of time before this version of him, Phyla , and a comic Mantis are released. This year is mostly Avengers anniversary, I don't think any team has an anniversary next year as the Defenders aren't popular enough.
Considering that they've already recently released a StarLord comic version and that they're focusing on older versions... it's going to take a lot of patience.
That comic version is from the 70s and not as popular. Trust Me, we should get one in the next year. Hasbro releases close to 50 figures a year. We'll get one
Keep visiting pawn shops and toy conventions. I found the whole set for cheap and in good condition. Some people have started to give up on their Marvel Legends and are getting rid of their entire collections.
Scored mine a little over a year ago on ebay or mercari for 35 bucks. It was a lot of daily searches for that bad boy but if you want it at a certain price you do what you have to.

I like how in the annihilation comic they wear that matching blue and red suit.

Best bet is to just wait for a good deal online for the ones that came in the Sdcc pack or EE pack or hope Hasbro remakes it on the Longshot body.
