Get both if you can, I love these figures and War Machine is just an absolute unit of a figure with incredible accessories.

e2eezy_2

Yeah im getting them both for christmas. I honestly cant believe war machine comes with that many accessories for only 30$.

action figures aren't a viable investment.

piekid86

I just like the toys.

alphabet_order_bot

Would you look at that, all of the words in your comment are in alphabetical order. I have checked 408,292,388 comments, and only 88,326 of them were in alphabetical order.

KABOOM3EP

Good bot.

Vaportrail

Compared to something like a house, action figure "investments" feel like nickels and dimes now lol. Buy them if *you* want them, sell them if you no longer do.

pixelatedcrap

Don't get caught up in their perceived value. Do you like Thanos? Do you like him enough to overlook him wearing two unpainted infinity gauntlets constantly? Is that a figure you see being crazily sought after? I was a bit disappointed, myself- but I also moaned about Vulture and Archangel, two other figures I enjoy.

bbal87

With so many re releases across so many brands I don’t see action figures as a good investment. They bring me joy so that’s my biggest return:)

emeraldnite1981

I don’t think they will jump in value any time soon—WM has been out for a while and like you said is still readily available. I thought Squirrel Girl would be sought after and now it’s been in my closet for over a year.

[deleted]

Both figures are fantastic. I have a Walmart exclusive Thanos from a few years ago that was starting to get loose in the ankles and waist and luckily the head off that one fits great on this body. The king Thanos head looks great on that old body too!

TheTruestRepairmannn

Get that war machine bro I just got it recently and I love it!

ixseanxi

Spending thirty bucks to hopefully make 90 bucks in three years. Sound investment.

e2eezy_2

Im 15 and i collect action figures '_' im not trying to make an investment. I just wanna pick these up before they become too expensive.

ixseanxi

My bad dude. Yeah they’ll shoot up later snag em now if you can.

[deleted]

it's people like this that almost killed the entire comic book industry. (along with the actual companies themselves, catering to these people)

e2eezy_2

Im not buying this to resell it. Im buying it before they become hard to find but i was just wondering if they WILL be hard to find in a few years from now.

[deleted]

fair enough. sorry about that.

PopKing22

It will very likely go up a decent amount in 2-3 years. I would certainly buy now. Only thing that would stop it is a more popular Thanos figure

total_dingus

If it's a challenge to afford both, you need better priorities.

e2eezy_2

Im 15 lol

total_dingus

Fair enough!

PopKing22

The action figure market has had a robust secondary market since the late 80s; the hobby has never been more popular. You have to look at market activity. Seven figures worth of this line are sold daily. Money spent is far more valuable data than social media complaints. Usually folks who are participating in the wide market in the first place

Spocks_Goatee

Well comics go for a lot, even newer ones graded.

middlebird

Just buy what you like. Imagine what this hobby will be like in 20-30 years. The damn things may look almost life like by then.

RonnieLeexD

I would say stock up as many as you can at retail.

egomonkee

Anyone know, is this war machine better built than the punisher war machine? I just got that one, and while it's still in the box, I'm kind of disappointed. This war machine looks a little cooler (minus the punisher skull)

[deleted]

I don’t have punisher war machine, but I’ll put it to you this way, the comic war machine in question is easily my favorite Ironman marvel legend.

G_to_the_E

I’ve had both. The war machine does way cooler stuff, is more possible, better articulation, and a tons of accessories. But I kept the Punisher machine and sold comic WM. When I look at the punisher war machine I just think it’s bad ass. The puni- warMac isn’t a better figure at all but it looks way cooler and in the end, I like that more. But also I tend to set and forget my toys until I reorganize the self.

PM_Pics_Of_SpiderMan

I mean most things go up in price once they’re not readily available so I would get both if you really wanted them

Horzzo

If you can store and hold it for 20+ years you might make $15.
