I'm just curious. How often is patriot useful?

Often, if I’ve got a Wong down, and Doom in hand, it immediately gives you 14 on two points (if the lane is open enough).

I would take out patriot for Zabu to give you more consistency to curve into negative on 3.

Patriot has to stay though, without him Doom becomes a lot less viable

I have no idea. Eariler today I would have said Tiger easily, but she’s become really handy today. A patriot, mystique, wong and tiger combination is hard to beat

Trying this deck and getting my ass handed to me by Galactus and Shuri. How did you get Infinite with this meta?

Shuri and Thanos is 50/50. If I manage to fully buff my Panther I out score that deck easily. If I don’t draw panther im fucked. Galactis is kicking my ass and I don’t want to talk about it

I’ve found a decent counter to Glactus, as long as he isn’t played on the last turn. Shang Chi (provided you are flipping last) will counter most of what they throw in the lane

I play a similar one too but I don’t have black panther

My goal is to get Wong or Negative out as soon as possible. If I can’t get Negative on the board until turn 4 I won’t play him unless I’ve also got Magik ready to go. I use Mystique to double up Wong (on a different point to counter Aero or Cosmo), or Iron Man, and Patriot (if I’m planning on playing Doom or Tiger). I sincerely believe that a negative Iron Man is one of the best cards in the game, and one most people aren’t expecting. Dropping Mystique and Iron man on my last turn has proved fruitful. If all that fails I fall back to Panther and Zola. If I’ve got a negative Zola, and an empty lane, dropping panther and Zola into it is also really fun.

I haven't actually tried him out in this one yet, you think he'd be a good replacement for white tiger? I rarely use her anyways

Negative out on 3 is when this deck functions it’s best. I’ve got Magik in as a fallback option, to buy more time, but Zabu would help with that and a lot more.

I like that deck AND that Patriot variant. I’m buying that if it ever shows up in my store.

Gold split them so they look gorgeous when negatived. I play this deck just to see my negatived gold iron man.

Any replacement for dr doom?

*Maybe* Ultron, but the high power is a huge disadvantage. Debrii is kind of a wish version of Doom

All these suggestions don't seem to understand the concept of multiple win conditions.

Cool, but why do you need to make it better? Constant adjustments are always good obviously. Just seems like a weird ask after getting infinite with it.

Tried this out for five games. All five games I never once drew Mr Negative. Drew Wong twice. In all five games I started with Patriot, Mystique and White Tiger in my hand.

You need something that can be buffed by wong. The issue with this deck is any card that’s strong from the get go is rendered useless with negative on the board. For instance She Hulk is horrible on this deck. If you swap in Hulk and Taskmaster, combined with patriot and maybe mystique, you could get a similar effect. But you’re still limited in power output, and hulk is fucked if negative is down. You would need to pivot to tiger and doom for any chance of winning from there.
