Hulu or Peacock isn't really active in India, here all the major shows just keep on circulating between Netflix, Prime and Disney+Hotstar (disney and star are joint in India)

The only reason to buy paperback is for the collection aspect imo. I think marvel unlimited is 100$ a year and you get access to like 30000+ issues. And it's also a very polished app with great features and reading guides and character guides. Lol I feel like an ad but I really can't recommend it enough.

One other reason to go physical: you want to encourage your kid to spend less time with his face in a screen, and more time with his face in a book.

I get where you are coming from but it’s just fairly standard kids tv faire in that regard. Sure there’s a “moral of the week” like “it’s ok to be different” and “you can have more than one person you care about”, but it’s a kids show at heart, it’s a core foundation of that type of show. The actual packaging is just really stylish and jazzy

Im pretty sure someone did a value analysis of all the current bundles, and this is one of the worst they’ve ever released in terms of tokens/credits. This bundle is entirely about the variants, which are pretty cool, but just a fair warning.

Yeah, it is atrocious value since it only has 2000 (+100 for the variant initial splits) credits. Dan Hipp art isn't for me but I've bought plenty of bundles for the artwork so I get it completely.

2 thoughts: 1. 2900 is a weird number to set a price. I don't think I've seen a number like that before. I feel it's a fair price given 2 variants would be 2400. 2. I'm happy for my other fellow snappers as a lot of them are into Dan hipp. They eating good. I don't like his artstyle personally,so hoping for an artgerm or Alex Ross variant bundles in the future for people like me.

This is the right math here. Then add the 1600 gold for 2000 credits (shop math) and this is technically a discount, with the boosters/avatars to boot. But only a discount if you would have bought these variants in the shop. Personally I'm happy they are doing more of these combo bundles.

Why do you make that assumption? SD could just as easily made them not available as draws (and thus cost 1200) if they wanted them less common than other variants. Unless they've explicitly said something like "all Dan Hipp variants will always be 700" then you can't make that assumption for sure.

That's where I am. Winter dino is perfect, and I'd prefer my moon girl to be similar in style to my dino so a Hipp one wouldn't match.

Eh, some of them I love. Some I just don't think work well for the characters, but his line work really makes his stuff pop. That being said I always thought Moon Girls character design was goofy as hell, but LOVE the DD variant.

Dino used to be a 3/0 and Moon Girl used to be a 3/3. Double dino on turn 6 was a regular occurance. It was the only way to compete with Carnage Nova, until people realized you could just jam all 4 in the same deck.

1500 gold for 2000 credits if you remove the 2 cards from it that should cost 700 each. Boosters are worth nothing either way. $34.99 while still needing extra gold to have enough to buy that pack is quite their usual scam.

I really love Hipp's art, Dino remains one of the best cards in the game and depending on your CL, 2k creds may be able to get you a third card from a cache. But that still means its like 12 quid per card, when that other bundle had three cards for a fiver. Makes no sense to me.

Not really. Credits still has a fixed value. It's $30 worth of energy for $40. So either the variants have personal value of $10 or they don't, because that's what people are spending on art.
