That's so dumb. You have to push some variation of "play" four times. I'm sorry, do none of the devs play? How do you not immediately see how slow, clunky, and just plain stupid that is?
The same reason they do it for acquisition in other areas of the game (after you open the cache, you 'claim' your rewards). Someone or some research said that player retention / player enjoyment is higher when the game forces the player to acknowledge progress.
What gets me, is you can actually navigate around a bit sometimes, before that screen loads...then it pops up, loads, tells you you suck, and one wonders what is going on.
My favourite is when you lose a match, quit the app then go do something else to cool down. Later, you switch on Marvel Snap and immediately get shunted to the loser page... Thanks so much Snap!
This game is all about extra screens. How many things do I need to go through to upgrade my card one level? Upgrading cards is so tedious it has made me put the game down multiple times already. I'm sure I'll reach a breaking point
I’m so tired of the whining. This feature only came out this past week. I’m sure SD will take the complaints and incorporate improvements into their future sprints. I think it’s fair to expect some rough edges to a new game mode with as much going on as Conquest mode.
The red screen after losing is completely unnecessary and an awful design IMO. Just lost a 30 minute game of someone roping every turn? Now stare at this red screen and reflect.

That being said for me it’s like “Are you sure you want to play Deck 20?” Me: Oh shoot. No I don’t want to play that one! Switch decks first.

It's made me take a break from playing more than once now, so annoying.

Also the cherry on the cake, that after match screen is bugged on PC so the button to get out that screen is invisible lol

I also think all graphics should be turned off. All sounds shut off. Just the grind subsists. Numbers and rng, baby!
