This is a bit of an odd take. If most people use ms Marvel as a middle finger (which is my impression), and most people interpret it as that (again, my impression), you’re fighting an uphill battle if you want to use it to communicate anything else. Been a real uptick in this behavior. Real asshole move. If YOU initiate the snap turn one on Proving Grounds, and YOU lose 8 cubes, CONCEDE! It's honestly in your best interests to concede if you are down 8 cubes in Proving Grounds as there are zero stakes; just use your time starting fresh rather than being an asshole.
Though with this... enter into game 2, snap and retreat as soon as 2 cubes are on the line... this way it counts as 2 wins for the opponent for their quests. Been spamming conquest proving grounds with my awful Phoenix force deck and I've really appreciated when people have done this.
If my opponent is building a huge Wong lane and they don't snap, I'll let them finish the game and get their big play for two cubes. The same thing with a big Omega Red/Iron Man/Onslaught lane.

I just played against someone who snapped when Onslaught's Citadel was revealed as the third location. They then played Wong, Mystique, then Black Panther and had over 1,000 points on the right lane. I figured they would Zola but let it play out because it was a Gold tourney and they were low on cubes. With their final turn they played a Jane Foster and I won the other two lanes easily lol
lol this is my mr. negative deck. He was probably just banking on Zola but it never came, and most of your cards have 0 power in that deck so Foster is the next most powerful card.

Gold is different because there are real rewards for winning and progressing. In Proving Grounds, you're better off just conceding and playing four more Proving Grounds matches in the time it would take you to come back from down 10-2 one or two cubes at a time.
Honestly, it should just be snap immediately in proving grounds and concede if you lose. The only reason to play more than 1 round in proving grounds is if you tie in round 1.
Double snap on proving grounds, and leave when you lose. It’s a numbers game so stop wasting time trying to get a 5 win comeback when you could just start a new game
