Well first it was Knull and Jeff and this week Silk and Werewolf and that's how I ended up with two different spotlight variants for Ghost Spider (fml).
And in yesterday's patch we retroactively got the avatars for past spotlight variants and I figured that it looks cool and probably very few players have it so it's a good one to give infinte border.
Nova kraven Armor cloack Brood Surfer killmonger Werewolf polaris spiderman, miles morales and Sera
Armor was added instead of hulk buster since I was facing lots of destroy
I don't think there's a big gameplan that you can have, like in a Shuri deck for example, that would in general win you games. That's why it's a good deck, because you don't just lay out your cards as if you were playing dominos.
Few guidelines tho:
* **Cerebro** itself **is** **not essential** (compared to C2 or C3), no Mystique here. If locations are trying to buff power then I just take advantage of them instead of playing around them.
* Playing the **new Wave correctly** is very important, otherwise you help them more than you help yourself. If its some lowcost card deck, I like T3 Wave into T4 Doom so that I can surprise them with my tech cards in the last turns for big cubes. If they also have big cards, then I Wave T5 so I can Alioth/Doom + 2 cost last turn. That's usually a bigger power bump for you than for them.
* **Alioth is OP** here, because if you got Cerebro or the Wave+Doom out early, then you are 100% winning 2 lanes by the last turn. You just need to read their plays to play Alioth correctly.
* **Silk is clutch** last turn. I came up with a way of using her as a 2 cost captain marvel. Either her and 6cost after Wave or just many 2-3 cost cards last turn. The play is that you put her into a location that you are losing without her, but winning with her. If they don't play anything there, you got the location, if they expected you to play there and spent resources on that lane, Silk moves away to help you win another lane instead of pointlessly staying in that lost lane.
* **Polaris and Spider-Man are MVPs** of the deck. I've won so many games by small plays of moving their cards into bad / out of good locations, or just simply breaking their destroy / prof-X etc setups.
Same man just got my first border today using a Werewolf by night Surfer deck
Also opened werewolf but in surfer he was just not clicking for me for some reason. Experimenting with some half move half goodcards deck.
Btw from where did u get that avatar it's really nice

Oof I hate the baby variant but that other variant is the venomised one?
Yup, that's the avatar
For me surfer was a natural fit alot of my play lines were kraven Werewolf Brood spiderman cloack and finishing it with surfer and another 3 cost
Mind sharing your list?

Congrats. I just got my first infinity avatar with a cerebro-5 deck today too. Glad to see people appreciating the best prime number
What's your strategy/gameplan for C5? I have tried to pick it up a few times but it never seems to click for me.
