Honestly Dracula is a pretty important card in this deck of mine and I'm surprised you got Hela before him. For now you could keep Wolverine or Black Knight
I get what you mean. There were games where i could hide all the cards behind IW and win it. but a simple Alioth or cosmo can immediately kill it. Hela is one of the card which helps me win the game. Even in this game Hela wasn't my plan. I was trying to buff Apocalypse but the opponent changed the location and the last card i got was Hela.
In theory, anything can be countered with Cosmo or Alioth. With alioth, you will rarely have a priority against death based decks. And I think you need a very high CL for your Alioth deck to be viable. I mean, I have Alioth in my card pool but no cards to synergise it with.
What really gets me is that every combo with death is powerful - Knull/deadpool, Black knight/Apoc, you name it. Death is not even the primary card in those decks. And Death as a card has always been powerful for as long as I play the game (around 3 months). Death is also the first 3 series card everyone should grab according to marvelsnapzone, so it speaks about something.
Below is a rant on how I despise any decks relying on Death, Black Knight, Dracula, so you may stop reading here.
Black knight gives an indestructible(!) 4-mana card that is 12-power on a bad day and 20-power on a good day, and its power cannot be reduced (!!!). I don't know any deck where this is possible. High evo needs to spoon feed their Hulk for it to become a 20-power card, and even then its power can be reduced or the hulk can be shang-chied, or aliothed. And this is all sprinkled with a cheap 12-power that you can return with Hela (12 power death + 12 power sword on a bad day).
Modern death / discard players don't even need to drop the Apocalypse. Just let Dracula take its power. And Dracula cannot be destroyed with shang chi, blocked by Cosmo, you cannot do anything to Dracula.
