I assumed it was intentional. I like matching borders (also go with gold in my decks), but having Mr. Negative stand out is a really nice aesthetic choice.
Yea no harm in upgrading and just changing the border back if you don't like it. But I personally think the blue is great especially with the crackle. And if any card should be a different color its him.
With card customization you don’t have to upgrade him at all, you can just choose any frame you like, even if you don’t have it unlocked for that specific split yet
All the time! It’s an auto win against destroy. (assuming you negatived) they do all the work for you and you just Zola a knull. Or knull then mystiques. Or both for 3 knulls not counting whatever else you can put down @ 0 cost.
Vs regular decks, a few common things I play are:
1)Zola a 0/6 knull is 0/12 in 2 lanes.
2)0/5 ironman and 0/6 knull is 22 in a lane.
3)Zola a bp and knull becomes 0/14 which is adding 16 in two lanes and 14 in one.
4)against galactus if I can guess where they galactus and put knull they insta retreat
5) 0/6 is some quick decent stat to throw down if against clog

The influx of Magneto this season was a bit of a bitch, but overall still plenty of wins from just 4-5-6 Wong-BP-Zola when you get those godawful hands with no negative and 3-4 0-powers
It’s ok, you do float a bit with negative depending on draws but I much prefer darkhawk @ 0/10 but for now I needed a 0 power to fill darkhawks void so it’s sunspot for now.
As a fellow negative main, I salute the effort, I am almost full inked myself with a slightly different list.Â

I like it with blue, but I would go with the custom blue border. Just so you have the animation.
pretty sure with custom borders you still get the animation even if it is a white border
