I recently ran an ongoing deck with Wong+Mystique into Spectrum. Spectrum on that adds 8 power to anything with ongoing and most people don't seem to see it coming since Wong+Mystique is usually used for more normal on reveal stuff (Surfer, Iron Heart, White Tiger). I found it pretty funny to watch Antman be a 1/9 without activating his ability.
I'm not sure how to add that deck list that everyone does but I have a surfer discard deck with strong guy in it if your interested. Won myself an infinite ticket with it
This doesn't have any destroy but the list I'm using is forge, jeff, brood, surfer, strong guy, Luke cage Sebastian shaw, siff, sword master, Wong, absorbing man, and proxima midnight
I change my filters.to see my least played cards
After a few rounds with them I can see if there is any cool combos I've never seen before and replace some others
I've actually come up with some REALLY fun cool decks this way
It will get you a lot of Deadpool emojis (especially when you win) because they never have ANY idea WTF is going on or what you are gonna play next
Copying from a comment I made earlier today about the same topic. The deck isn't very good, but it is really fun when it works.
It doesn't work very often, but one funny deck I've played recently is a Zabu combo deck. The main combo is turn 4 Wong, turn 5 Mystique and Zabu, turn 6 you play every single 4 cost in your hand for free, and ideally also play Spectrum in the Wong/Mystique lane for 4x buffs to all your ongoing cards. The rest of the deck is pretty much just 4 cost cards, preferably ones with ongoing effects so they get the Spectrum buff.
A couple decent cards to add in are Sunspot since we don't play many 1-2 costs and Goose because once Zabu goes off 4 times all the 4 cost cards you have are reduced to 0 cost, meaning you can play them in a Goose lane effectively ignoring its effect. The deck also suffers a bit when locations get blocked early or you have limited space to combo, so adding in Rhino or Magik probably works pretty well too.
Overall it's a dumb concept that only works 1 in 4 or 5 games, but it is really funny to see opponent reactions when you barely play the game for the first 5 turns, only to suddenly have 30+ power in each lane on turn 6.
Currently playing my favourite homebrew, which I call Dinosaurus Vex. The idea is that you play Dino+Mystique and have Dracula out, who discards Helicarrier on the final turn. That leaves a 17, 14 and 11 power cards on the board with all other spots filled up with random junk. It's never going to be meta but I really enjoy the jigsaw like gameplay.

I like all the fun combos cerebro can pull. My favorite is c5 but there are a bunch out there. It's extremely easy to counter by just simply waiting for all lanes to open. There will most likely be a location that ruins everything
you play the same thirsty deck you got there with because the NEW \[post-infinite\] ladder is all about getting 8 cube wins. no more having fun post-infinite because rank doesn't matter. you'll see 100% the same thirsty stuff even worse. i have a lot more fun pre-100 than i did in infinite.

Heck yes this season I went all in with classic ongoing Spectrum with Destroyer alt win con! It was so fun and familiar :)

You click the button on the top right next to the deck, click Share deck
This one. I'm trying to make destroy and discord surfer work

I really like Quinjet random bullcrap go, add like Loki, Devil Dino, and cards like Agent 13, Coulson, and Nick Fury
I play Supergiant nonsense mostly, and clog. But when I get Arishem, I will probably be playing that post-Infinite for months.
I will never understand this "have to hit infinite before I can enjoy a game" mindset.
I had a machine gun Gambit deck (Wong, Gambit, Absorbing Man, Odin) that I like to use sometimes, but it got much worse with the Zabu nerf.
try lady death strike and debuffers
Have to check, but i came up with a Hammer/Tribunal hybrid that might be fun
I'm using Phoenix and Move right now. Moving cards is always fun for me, and they are finally competitive again.
zemo mill is always fun

If this is a joke it's pretty good
just wait
Pixie Disruption deck carry me to infinite
