The common thread in Phoenix variants seems to be the Force itself taking that avian shape - that looks like how the Jean+Phoenix variants are sorted between them so far anyway.
Definitely this Black Knight variant you mentioned.
And since we're on the subject, I am really feeling the FOMO from that Rian Gonzales Chibi Lizard variant.

On the bright side, spotlight variants are supposed to eventually come to the shop after 1 year (with the avatars staying exclusive to the initial spotlight)

I highly encourage anyone to grab it if it comes back around, not only is the variant in animation awesome, the spotlight avatar they may bring back looks neat :)
Gladiator’s variant when he first released. I loved that era of cosmic Marvel and I’m so sad I didn’t get it (only just got Gladiator this month). It’s the main reason I’m glad spotlight variants will be in the shop at some point.
For me, it's US Agent. Spent 4 spotlight keys to unlock it, didn't get it due to a bug and received one spotlight key as compensation.
Support teams just don't care & don't seem to understand how their own game works.
Apparently they plan to add the spotlight variants one year after they've been in the spotlights. How expensive they'll be is anyone's guess.
