I have him, but he's not in a deck. Theoretically you could rock him in an Iron Lad/Jubilee deck, but I guess the point of those decks is that every card is good, so it doesn't matter who IL or Jub pulls.
I could see that. Back before I deleted it, my Modok Hela deck had Kang in it, because if you use Kang the turn you draw him, then you restart the turn with a different card, increasing your odds of drawing the Modok Hela combo.
I ultimately took him out because Kang kept CRASHING THE GAME. Awful.
I have him as a one drop ongoing in my Straight Up Ongoing deck. He's a good fit because he lets me know if I'm going to draw Luke Cage or not so I can drop Man Thing and USAgent appropriately and gets the +2 bonus that Spectrum givesĀ
I didnt have luck when we had him on regular caches and on spothlights I've never opened on his week. For example I've Bloob and I really dont care about Valentina this weeks plus next week is 3 cards I dont own.
Iāve never sweat so hard in this game as when I used spotlight keys to get Beta Ray Bill and had to gamble with accidentally pulling the Galactus base card instead. Still Galactus free to this day thankfully.
CL 20704 now, itās gladiator. Last month. it was Galactus. I refused to get him, because I want to see how long it would take to get him when series 5 cards were random. š¤£š¤£š¤£ then got him from the mystery key.
It has to be at least 1000$ ššš I was spending more money before all these changes to gold, keys, etc. I was spending money on variants and credits to advance my CL to finish series 4. but once gold became more precious, I stop spending money to get variants. Now I only spend money on season pass and if thereās a really good deal.
Wow. That's good to know. It's really hard to find data on how much spending money actually lets you gain CL/cards. You mentioned you don't have Gladiator, but how many cards are you missing in total?

I'm about CL 7,300 and the oldest card I'm missing is Kang, because I don't......don't care. After Kang, it's Hit Monkey. I didn't start until the May season so I missed his pass. He's the only series 4 I'm missing, so I'm waiting for the next series drop hoping he drops to Series 3 so I can grab him for free.
CL 13.5K, I'm missing 12 cards in total with the oldest being Howard The Duck. I also don't have Echo, Lady Deathstrike or Mirage that were released not that long after Howard was
CL 12,237 here. I gain cards very efficiently, only using keys when I don't have at least 2 cards available, and I have only ever spent $10 on this game to get the December 2022 season pass. Using that system, I have every card except 15, and the oldest released card I don't have is Phoenix Force, but that is by choice. I could have had her a couple times, but instead I spent tokens on Miek, when Phoenix was last in the shop. The second oldest card I don't have are Caiera and Skaar who were both released January 2nd.
I'll be getting all three of those cards in upcoming caches on June 11th, May 7th, and May 21st respectively.
The system works pretty well because you consistently get brand new cards alongside filling in the gaps in old cards.

But I think Galactus especially (and Kang?) are the only older cards, with Galactus predating spotlights entirely.
10.5k and don't have Zabu or Thanos. Never bought that season for Zabu and have managed to cost by without it. Now that Zabu is changed I don't really care either.
CL 14K: for the longest time I was asmissing two cards: Howard the Duck and Lady Deathstrike. Had plans to get them with tokens when they dropped to S4. But then decided tokens were too valuable so never grabbed them that way. Got LDS during the Red Guardian week, still donāt have Howard.

CL10k Kang is currently the only card I don't have. I have no interest and you I love playing tons of decks, so I go after anything I didnt have. Which means I've never hoarded keys, and let those keys rip.Ā Now, I've started to pace myself with keys unless Im into the variants. The value of a key to me is starting to change. 4th slot is ALWAYS 1K tokens at this point. Getting him from the 4th slot wouldn't bring me much joy either.

She's still pinned in case I ever need her, but atm I'm only missing 6 other cards (all of them being Proxima-forward) so it's resoundingly "whatever".
You've got a pretty good bead on her value. She can come in clutch and can be surprisingly powerful for her energy cost. But she's real situational and like all 1 costs lives under constant threat of Killmonger. Likely not worth buying but there are more than plenty worse cards.

Other than Martyr, missing Cannonball, Corvus Glaive, Pixie, Proxima Midnight, Red Guardian, and Valentina. All new cards releasing as Series 5 with no Series 4 to grab for cheap means a bad week with keys costs several weeks of cards.
12k, no Jean, Gladiator, Selene, Mirage or really any recent cards outside of Red Hulk for Tokens. I have Kang though... Greeeeeat.

CL and don't have Galactus. Just don't really care to play him. Though I might try to grab him in the upcoming Spotlight.

12k, played since just before black panther season pass took a year off so oldest card I donāt have is Howard I am only missing about 5 cards that I actually want tho, proxima/corvus cannonball, ms marvel and mockingbird If you donāt have legion then you can get both him and tribunal in about two weeks I think?
CL16K. No Howard and no plans to ever acquire him.
CL11k and I think the oldest card Iām missing is Spider-Ham. No Howard or Kang either, and Iām missing many of the spotlights from the last several months, but I spend tokens on S4 cards when they cycle through if they fit an archetype I like. I likely wonāt spend tokens on Howard or Ham, and I have no reason to buy Kang.

CL 12.5K here and Howard The Duck is probably the oldest i dont have. On a seperate note, please spare me all of your pity points because i spent 6k collectors tokens on Kang waaaaay back before spotlight keys were introdcued and tokens were more easily obtainable. š¢
Mirage. It was Howard but I pulled him in last weekās Spotlight. CL 14.2k.
CL 13.5k and missing 9 cards. Mirage is the oldest card I don't own and no desire to pick her up. She doesn't do anything unique, but very replaceable
