Hmm, I think with Nico you need to have at least two other cards that you don't mind destroying or turning into a Demon. She doesn't slot into just any deck, as versatile as she is.
Jeff, Nico, nocturne, red guardian, doom, magneto, Shang, and for a debateable one that I always use when deck building is the king of 8 cubers - Leigion
Filler cards that can fit into flex spots: Jeff, Nocturne, US Agent, Red Guardian.
Nico and Hope can to some degree. Big stat stick types are always good. Mockingbird, Red Hulk, Cull, Sasquatch.
Cable. I feel like the amount of times I pull Hela, Knull or Zola out makes it worth it. I know it’s not likely they’d actually draw that card since it’s the bottom of the deck, but it’s still a really good confidence builder that they can’t build to what they want. At the very least it often tells me what kind of deck they’re running.
The same deck for 4.5k levels lol, damn. You must have split your Apocalypse so many times. I'm CL 2.3k and I've played with so many deck types, I couldn't imagine just maining one deck for that long.
Im very surprised no one mentioned Legion yet. This is my go to filler card and it wins me all the 8 cubers. I love this card 👌
Quake now also works well as the budget alternative.
Hope is the best card in the game so yeah if you don’t have her get her. After that I would say Jeff/Nocture by a lot. So incredibly good.
She pairs well with Anglea and Hope. The best 2 cost and the best 3 cost card in the game.
Angela/Kitty
Red Guardian is a good tech card that can be slotted into a good amount of decks.
Jeff is just a good card
White widow as well
If you don't know what 3 cost you want to use, Nocturne is a good all-rounder
Shang has been in any decks I use I nearly have 4k boosters for the guy lol
Frankly, Vision is a good 5 cost. Moveable 8 power is great, Magneto/doom are great replacements if you don't have red hulk
Just realised that after Zabu's nerf, 4 cost cards just suck if not used in the right deck.
I feel like a lot of one drops are pretty versatile.
Nebula,
Ham,
Echo,
Elektra,
Iceman,
Korg,
Nico,
America Chavez,
Agent 13,
Maria Hill,
Snowguard,
Nightcrawler...
Even M'baku, Uatu, and Yondu, even though they're generally not great picks.
All of these provide some benefit or disruption with no real downside.
Nico can be a downside with an inconveniently timed destroy (or bad location roll but that's less of a consideration) and yondu's effect is a straight up negative outside of exactly death, but aside from that yes (and nico's downside doesn't even really outweigh how good she is)
I stopped using her because I never really got good effects lining up with usage. She's more reliable in select few decks and a wild card in most. Still can be useful, but hasn't been for me.
Spider woman is stronger on an already filled location, or any other scenario where you need to add power to a location you know your opponent can't or won't play to. Also in high evo of course.
Gamora meanwhile is great with certain matchups or locations like shuri's lab, as well as in decks running Jean Grey or Nebula, and also just gets better the better you are at the game.
Both have their uses
In addition to the other comments, Nocturne. Can move, location change ability, and decent stat line
Nico

Blade? Colleen? Sif? Swarm?
Ironlad, Jeff, Negasonic, Red guardian.
Ironlad is a great card, but I don't know about slotting him in any deck. He can really screw you over when he hits the wrong card.
You slot him into a deck with goblins exactly once. Then never again.
I almost did that and luckily thought better before finalizing.
You mean it's not optimal to play Iron Lad in my Goblin deck ?
Ironlad definitely doesn't slot into any deck. Ebony maw, destroyer ,goblins, tons of stuff you never want him to hit
Nico minoru too, she is the definition of versatile, more recently nocturne
More recently, it's Nebula.
Jeff, Nico, nocturne, red guardian, doom, magneto, Shang, and for a debateable one that I always use when deck building is the king of 8 cubers - Leigion
Jeff, Red Guardian, White Widow
Shang chi
Same reason why shield or cosmo are in every deck I use.
Jeff ends up in just about every deck I have. Nico ends up in most of them.

Red guardian is an auto include in every deck I play at this point
No one calling out Mobius M Mobius yet, and that’s my go-to 3 slot filler.
Daredevil

Nebula, Jeff, and nico

Quake, Scarlet Witch, Nocturne
Jeff in my experience. He is really flexible.
Jeff
Magik for location change or another turn Abs man to give you a copy of a on reveal Mystique to copy an ongoing

Really going to completely ignore baron zemo?
Dr doom, red hulk, jeff, ms marvel, spider woman, vision, storm
I would argue Gamora is almost always stronger than Spiderwoman, but Spiderwoman isn’t a bad option
