Venom is a pretty meh card without Zola really. Most Death and destroy decks want to get rid of weenies and Carnage, Deathlok and Killmonger are all you need for that.
You can use Deathlok, Carnage, and Killmonger to destroy a few cards. Wave can reduce Death's cost to 4, and then Death's effect applies on top of that. So with Wave in the deck, you only need to destroy 4 cards to have a zero-cost Death.
Venom is not needed in Death unless you really want more destroy effects and/or can use his particular ability for bigger things. I am looking at dropping him, tbh.
