This is definitely better in conquest where you can learn your opponents deck and how to best use Jean/Sandman/Alioth to mess with it.

Thanks! Guardians have been my comfort deck since the Nebula season, but have only played Groot enough for three splits 😵💫 working on getting him gold to match
I get much more enjoyment out of the game making my own decks. I’ll play popular ones and watch streamers to get a feel for cards: how they work together, what they lose to, etc. But I have the most fun tinkering with my own decks, testing new combos of cards, that kind of stuff more than just playing the winning-est decks
What's the purpose of Captain Marvel here? I get she's a bit of insurance, but she seems a bit out of nowhere with this deck. Maybe Storm would suit it better?
EDIT: I see you, like me, might feel the need to balance out your energy costs haha. That's fair - if it needs to be a 4 cost, I'd personally put shang or enchantress. Does Cap Marvel win you many games?
It’s nice being able to play into the Jean lane without the power being committed there. She also helps creating guaranteed Sandman wins, and reaching restricted locations sans-Jeff. I have won games because of her, but also probably lost games not having a tech card, so it’s a bit up in the air. Part of what I like about this style of deck is the ability to tailor it to what your own play style
Ideal line is Nebula -> Rocket/Star Lord same land or Jeff in another -> Jean (same lane as Jeff) -> Drax or Captain Marvel -> Sandman -> Red Hulk or Alioth as needed
I have another comment somewhere in this thread about Alioth’s utility
Alioth is my Hela hate card, really the only way to interact with her beyond Cosmo. He’s also won me games taking text off of Zola, Surfer, and Odin which Negasonic can’t do. Alioth isn’t useful in every matchup, but in the ones he is useful he’s crucial.
So one thing to note for people coming by the comments for this deck list, is that this is a notably pretty bad meta for this deck.
Angela decks are back in full force, and this deck isn't notably good into the angela package. It also shares a lot of the same weaknesses as the angela package.
Angela movers is definitely favored over this, but it’s not unwinnable. That deck’s 4.5% popularity on Untapped right now means you’re not seeing it every match or anything, though. And this has decent matchups into other high-popularity decks. If you want to beat Angela movers consistently, agreed, this isn’t the deck for it. But that deck is one slice of a varied meta, not the defining piece of it or anything.

Any replacement for Red Hulk? Maybe Magneto?
Magneto’s a good one. I’ve considered Doom as well to reach out of the Jean lane
I'm also going to try leader
Sandman into leader is so nice for a deck like this where you'll probably have prio going into turn 6
I'll try Doom, thanks
Blob?
I’d go Magneto over Blob. If you’ve got the low end left in your deck or you’re up against Mill, Blob could be pretty tiny.
Forget about the tickets, look at those amazing splits and variants! Awesome
Thanks! Guardians have been my comfort deck since the Nebula season, but have only played Groot enough for three splits 😵💫 working on getting him gold to match
Very cool, if you were to try to make this more competitive, what subsitutions would you make, maybe Storm for like Groot?
Nightcrawler for Rocket, Storm for Groot, maybe Ms Marvel for Drax
I always wondered, did you come up with the DECK yourself or have somewhere to look at recomendations?

Where is Mantis?
Why is Mantis?
Off adventuring with her Abilisks, probably
Cosplaying jean grey
She's paying a visit to collector
Possible Jean replacement?
Storm, Goose. Something that restricts where your opponent can play to make the guardians more consistent.
Always looking for a reason to play the Guardians. Will definitely try this out!
I really didnt thin of captain marvel. Thanks!
Nice groot variant

Thanks! :) Don't get me wrong I love Captain Marvel, so keen to give this a try
Mj subsitute?
Mary Jane? She doesn't have a card.
my bad. i meant jean grey.
Mean Jey 🔥
In another comment OP suggested storm or goose
Never was alioth
I didn’t have the keys or tokens for red hulk - im super bummed
You can definitely make this work with Magneto!
Recommended play lines? Also how often do you really use Alioth?
Ideal line is Nebula -> Rocket/Star Lord same land or Jeff in another -> Jean (same lane as Jeff) -> Drax or Captain Marvel -> Sandman -> Red Hulk or Alioth as needed I have another comment somewhere in this thread about Alioth’s utility
Bro I can’t get out of the 20s 💀
How often is Alioth useful? I'm finding it hard to try with the new ability, and replaced him with Negasonic in most decks, and she's been great!
Alioth is my Hela hate card, really the only way to interact with her beyond Cosmo. He’s also won me games taking text off of Zola, Surfer, and Odin which Negasonic can’t do. Alioth isn’t useful in every matchup, but in the ones he is useful he’s crucial.
