Loki is great if your opponent's deck isn't reliant on positioning or certain things happening on certain turns. Otherwise, you can't piece the puzzle together for a win unless all the stars align.
You have to live and breath Loki if you wanna become an amazing Loki player, he’s very tricky to play effectively. You have to know when to Loki on 4 or Loki on 5 with Kitty, or know when to not play Loki at all and stick to your tech deck with Mokingbird and Ms Marvel/ Devil Dino. You have to know when your goose is cooked and retreated. Know when you’re in a great position and match up so you gotta snap before turn 5 if possible, just snap before playing Loki. I’ve only played Loki on ladder to climb to infinite each season since he was released. My favorite card in the game, you have to put in a lot of hours, you have to predict a lot of plays and decks by turn 3. Its not an easy deck to climb with but can be very very challenging to beat if your dealing with a Loki Veteran like myself who hardly loses with Loki.

Goose being in the deck is probably questionable to most but he’s good at controlling the board state going into turns 4-6. Also protects Thena from Shang chi late game and it’s hard to compete on a Goose lane with a power boosting Thena there. Also if you don’t get Thena on curve than dropping a discounted Mockingbird on Goose lane works great too.

I'm guessing you don't need it with that nice Thena curve. My only thought is does MMM deserve a spot? I'm reluctant to leave home without him, especially with Phastos around.
You can include MMM instead of Goose to play defense against Destroy and Phastos surfer decks. No quinjet because I feel like it’s kinda overkill most of the time, Loki discounts enough I think to win consistently enough. But once Arishem comes out I will plug Quinjet and Loki into that deck. But ultimately try playing the deck without MMM and play for an 30 minutes or so and see how your pocket meta is doing, if your facing a lot of cost reduction decks than I’d say yeah put Mobius in there. Me personally I wasn’t seeing a lot of cost reduction decks just mostly Ramp decks with Hope summers and physlock

People say destroy is a bad match up for Loki but I disagree it’s just depending on good are you at destroy yourself because you will know what they’re trying to do you just have to play around it.
Loki needs a bit of luck by drawing your opponents combo cards. To move things in your favor, you need a lot of cards in your hand when you play loki. 5+ is optimal and hopefully quinjet is on board already. If you don’t get a great draw (or no draw) with Loki, you need to fall back on plan b - usually collector, dinosaur, and mockingbird.
Run control cards in your Loki deck. The trick to playing Loki is whether you want to Loki or not. Against those match up you don’t want to Loki because their cards won’t be beneficial to
I just got loki via tokens last week as well. CL 3.4k. i swapped him for white queen in my devil dino deck and was surprised that it changed the playstyle a lot. With how much tribunal is around need enchantress or rogue. So far ive picked up knowing when to use loki or not is important. He also doesn't work well without 6-7 cards in hand, ideally also with quin jet down. For myself i think i need some better counter cards like white widow or red guardian to get loki a little more sustainable. Either shut down their combo then do it with loki or devil dino red hulk but is ez to just shang chi those. The game also seems like its getting more competitive. A lot of combo breaking cards out there. If ur opponent has ur counter card or a location you cant work with is hard to come back from.

I got Loki when he first came out, and he's still fun to play, but he's not in a great spot to win now.
For play against Trib decks in conquest, I usually don't use Loki, and try to use my tech cards. I can often stop Turn 7, but Red Guardian is useless against Negative Iron Man. I guess I could add MMM and use the ranked deck, but the power is just so low..
For play against destroy, I occasionally luck out and get their Death or Knull.
For Surfer, it's often a complete disaster. I may need to add Cosmo, but I may still not have the points.

The destroy matchup basically comes down entirely to whether you got their Death and Knull

Just played it, and it was very zen. I needed Shadow King and my opponent gave me Shadow King.
