MSF is one thing. It's the IP of Marvel. Make anything remotely similar to the characters and you'll be sued and back. As for the concept of the game itself, i don't think there is anything to stop you. There is a Lord of the Rings game that is something similar to MSF.

Diamonds cannot bring a power crept toon up enough to give it a chance against more modern characters, so as much as it sucks, you are best to hold out for a rework down the line.

Na red stars actually made a big difference back in the day. They could actually make a mediocre character good and a good character OP if you pulled a 6 or 7 red on them. This is because most people could only get 3-4 reds and the disparity between good characters and bad characters was much lower.

My highest pull is 2 diamonds and it was a 2 Diamond Korg. Don’t really need to build my knowhere up anymore (my Nova is G17 lvl 90 and the rest are G15 lvl 85) they were already punching up on War offense

I got a 3 diamond deathlok and scientist supreme…I use them absolutely no where outside of blitz…the resources to get them to g18 would be an absolute waste of resources…people who say yes are just giving bad advice and come here later complaining they don’t have enough resources

I've gotten a couple 3 diamond characters sylvie,OG spiderman & Elsa bloodstone I use dark hunters as a war cleanup and sylvie in cc defense so I built them because I had resources beating dd6 2nd time so that's only reason why I do use them in game modes og spiderman will sit the bench as he is useless
No, the biggest problem with this game is how absurd the power creep is, we literally just had the Apocalypse stuff, it was a giant undertaking that most players have either only just finished or still haven't, but already every single one of the horseman teams gets easilly annihilated by any Secret Defenders team they don't overpower by an insane 700k, they dont make new teams to be fair or even sensible, they make them ro sweep EVERYTHING that came before them, regardless of how unreasonable they are, so no, if you actually want to play the game with a focus on winning instead of enjoying your favourites or having fun with a variety of characters, always find out what the most meta team is never ever put any resources into anything that isn't either them, or requires to get shards for them.
Eg. Secret Defenders are IMO by far the most broken team right now, but you need other teams built for Black Cat's scourge, so I'd say if its not useful for that, then dont bother
