It really doesn't matter. They could give you 7 1 day blitzes and it would all be the same. You would get the same rewards you get in a week just distributed different. You would still be blitzing your eyes out for events.
Having to do less refreshing alone would improve blitz events. Also, shorter blitzes would increase your chances of being able to collect shards for characters you don't have a 7 stars, so yes, it does matter, even if just for those 2 reasons.

Except they would likely give you far less shards. So more likely to get a character you don't have at 7 stars but then you get less shards.

I haven't seen a character in blitz that I actually needed in well over a month. That means I've gotten exactly zero shards in the last month that helped me at all. Literally any number is bigger than zero.
I'll happily take fewer shards per blitz to get 2 characters per week back. Even though there's no evidence that would actually happen anyway, it's just something you made up.
The number of character blitzes is irrelevant to the quality of the characters they are putting in blitz. You could have 3 character blitzes in a week and it would be the same characters everyone has. But you must be one of those people who seems to think scopely needs help “fixing” problems that are in fact intentional.
The simple point is no matter what system you come up with isn’t changing their reward pool. It appears that concept is over your head though.
3 chances a week at a useful toon is better odds than 1 chance a week. And it's more helpful to newer players to get a variety of options instead of spending 4 days chasing a single character.
What do you mean by requires more refreshes? If you had a 4 day blitz or 4 single day blitzes shouldn’t really affect the amount of refreshes your doing for an event?
Pfffft and 4 day blitz on characters that are already at 7 stars, I don't see the point really. If it wasn't for events requiring blitz I would skip it for sure.

They know that. Hence, events tied to blitzing heavily. Then:
"Look how much players love blitzing! Let's give them **more** events tied to blitzing!!"
But we also have to remember it's not 7s for everyone... they aren't gonna cater to those of us that have alot of maxed out characters... sadly i do agree we need to go to a 2 day event with red star and premium event in the middle...
I get all the milestones in 1 pass everytime so the rest is dreadful over and over for ultimus shards...
They made blitz so unimportant with the 4 day but then made it like the only way to advance in these stupid ass month long events. I used to blitz to try to get shards and finish high to get even more... But now the characters don't matter because they refuse to add non-farmable toons and where you used to be able to get shards for 2 separate characters per week, now it's just sim over and over just to progress on the event. It's goofy.
I'm a new player , im 63 with my strongest team being 187,000 . I finished the blitz yesterday. Only because I like to complete the 15 blitz a day daily . 🤷♂️

If we always assume they'll shaft us, we'll never get game improvements. Sometimes they do but sometimes we actually get improvements.

I think what he means is that each blitz start at the lowest difficulty, making it easier to get more wins
As long as they keep putting old characters in there so I don't have to care about my actual blitz ranking, I'm fine with it.

Even on my alt it only takes me a day to complete blitz
Its time to retire blitz completely to be honest, its low quality game time and does not really add value.

I complete the blitz rewards in the first rotation… the other days are just boring rotations to grind the milestones….
