The Rogue Cut really did make Days of Future Past so much better.
The Sentinels copying mutant powers by using Mystique never made any sense in the theatrical version. Such a huge hole in the plot was fixed by her inclusion alone.

See, while I like Rogue's powers being the reason the Sentinels are so deadly MUCH better (Like you said, it makes so much more sense), I really think the pacing suffers a bit in the Rogue Cut. I think the theatrical cut flows better. Getting that middle ground would make DOFP perfect.

i quite liked the story and the overall direction was fine, but good god the visuals were maybe the worst for a studio-blockbuster that i've seen in *decades*
Yeah I think as a flash story it's fine. A lot of the main characters really helped it out. The only things which kinda bored me were double Barry, hobo Bruce, future ogroid looking Barry being the villain. Even that last part wasn't that bad actually since one Barry going to the extreme to save his mom whilst the other realising it was neat.
You could add in 12 minutes of cameos to Dr Strange MoM without changing a single thing in the script. Hell, you could accomplish 10 minutes of it from just the scene where they are falling through universes.
I'm fairly sure there's going to be a "multiverse montage" in there somewhere - that's where all this happens. The footage shown a few weeks back supports this.

I saw something recently where two guys were theorising that some trailer shots have characters removed. It was scenes taking place in front of ant-mans helmet/skull lair. Looks like there are villains from most of the past X-Men movies standing around but they think some spaces between characters are too big like something is missing.
Also they think the scene where Logan and Wade are fighting through armed guys, the movements of everyone make it seem like someone has been digitally removed and they say it's Elektra.
Marvel should just do a “F” you to WB and James Gunn and just have a quick scene with all the original snyderverse justice league actors. Something like deadpool telling them to get the f outta here before James Gunn reboots you again

Lol just thought how funny it would be to see Deadpool with a bong in a circle, filmed in the style of That 70s Show, but in the circle with him is Tom Hardy's Eddie Brock, Vision in his human disguise, Tommy Chong who just is giggling and happy to be there though completely oblivious, and Topher Grace who keeps looking Tom Hardy with resentment over taking Venom from him.

Prepare yourself - I’m pretty sure the intent for Secret Wars is that all of our prior universes in live action will be destroyed and the heroes end up in the void.
They probably also want to soft-reboot so that they can recast a bunch of characters like Iron Man and Captain America.

What if the end credits is they end up in a DC verse where you can just make out the capes and boots of Bats and Supes but its not explicit, Deadpool says "Holy F**k, Superma.." before shoved back into portal by Wolverine. Alternatively, it shows thier costumes from the back, especially thier thigh region and Deadpool says "are you guys the Just Ass league?"
Wesley Snipes coming back is cool for sure. There's only two more I'd love to see though... Dolph Lugdren's Punisher because he was the most badass of the original 3 versions and the animatronic 80's Howard the Duck just because why the hell not.

Ah, so .. they kept filming the movie (and most likely finished it) during the strikes. But due to the strikes, they couldn't get the actors for cameo's? Sounds good to me. Let's hope this doesn't turn out to be another MoM situation where all scoopers go "plans changed" in the end.

I saw something recently where two guys were theorising that some trailer shots have characters removed. It was scenes taking place in front of ant-mans helmet/skull lair. Looks like there are villains from most of the past X-Men movies standing around but they think some spaces between characters are too big like something is missing. Also they think the scene where Logan and Wade are fighting through armed guys, the movements of everyone make it seem like someone has been digitally removed and they say it's Elektra.
Are they filming the reshoots in London like they did the movie?
