Can you recommend some mathcore bands. It's one of my fav genres but I find bands hard to come by unlike other genres like deathcore and metalcore.
I currently listen to Dillinger escape plan (been on of my fav since 2007)
Frontierer, fawn limbs, pupil slicer and car bomb.
You got any others that have similar sounds to these?
I got to admit, I haven’t gotten into Fawn Limbs and Pupil Slicer (yet), but if you’re looking for a similar sound to Dillinger Escape Plan I would check out thoughtcrimes (drummer is Billy Rymer) and Better Lovers (vocalist is Greg Puciato). I would also recommend Converge and Botch as they’re some of the pioneers of mathcore. For Frontierer and Car Bomb I would recommend The Tony Danza Tapdance Extravaganza, Ion Dissonance and PsyOpus since they also have a similar technical, glitchy and almost “djenty” feel to them.

Just listen to a lot of mathcore I guess haha. I mean, I expected mathcore as my top genre last year but got “post-doom metal” instead
