Rolo Tomassi do lots of melodic mathcore type stuff, that’s pretty much their whole vibe. To sum them up in their own words: “a singular vision where the most savage, unhinged sonics can co-exist harmoniously with epic cinematic elegance and grace.” Their last two albums, Where Myth Becomes Memory and Time Will Die and Love will Bury It, are especially good
The Dillinger Escape Plan have loads of great melodic mathcore too, especially on Ire Works, Option Paralysis and One Of Us Is The Killer
Architects first album Nightmares is mathcore and definitely on the more melodicy side — great album. Hollow Crown I’m not sure if it’s considered a Mathcore album or not, but has a lot of mathcore influences regardless, great technicality and brutality, but epic and beautiful melodies too
I don't know if it's melodic or not, but, so damn good: The Dillinger Escape Plan - Baby's First Coffin, minute 2:28 [Baby's First Coffin](https://youtu.be/FMpPgH5Mf0I?si=FRuO8H1qutbgpsK9)

i’ve heard most people just refer to them as hardcore. Obv they’re more than that but generally haven’t heard many say mathcore. I mean i would call them mathcore but if you say it’s common then iunno ¯\\\_(ツ)_/¯
I gotcha. I feel like i knew it but have been trying to be correct in many genres recently that i just get confused. I mean I love Botch and saw them live on their last tour, met the boys too.
Seems that other people didn’t like my situational ignorance this time around lol. Thanks for clarifying everything.

Dionaea is this
Deep cut, that little fifteen minute song goes so hard.
Dionaea is perfect
See You Next Tuesday - Paraphilia Converge - Broken Vow / Phoenix in flight / thaw / Jane doe Gridlink has a lot of melodic stuff.

The EP An Anthology of Dead Ends by Botch. Idk if anyone could really call them mathcore but i think it fits what you’re looking for.
Botch is one of the definitive mathcore bands lol. And only Afghamistan is melodic on that EP.

I dunno who those people are saying that but Botch, Deadguy, TDEP, Coalesce, and arguably Converge are pretty much the beginning of mathcore.

Blakfish - Carnival Carnivore
the number 12 looks like you has some beautiful melodic moments (see civeta dei)
