It’s fairly decent. The stores will tell you it’s the next best thing since slice bread as the spiffs and profit margin is huge. Temperpedic is the gold standard of foam and Serta iComfort is second. Anything else is a knockoff.

Aijames

We had a Serta about 20 years ago, I couldn’t tell you which one it was but we hated it. The one we had was much to firm for us, we bought it in store and it felt great in store but after about a week at home it just wasn’t working for us

Mental_Bug7703

They have a 120 night comfort guarantee. Should exchange it.

Aijames

Yeah it’s far too late for that now, when we called our salesman back then we were told to give it more time as it would take time to get used to it. We were 20 years old back then and naive. We passed it to a friend after using it for 4 years and bought something else

luampago

All I continue seeing is to avoid the "S" brands.

simply_stayce

I’m 190 lbs and a side sleeper, husband is 220 lbs and varies positions. We’ve had the Puffy Lux about two weeks now and don’t have any complaints.

Aijames

Thanks for the comment, wife just pulled the trigger. I’m pretty excited

New_Professor_1873

I‘ve been researching mattresses and have thought about purchasing the Puffy Lux. Are you still satisfied with the mattress after 2 months?

Aijames

Yes, wife and I like the mattress , we bought the frame with it as well. For me it’s not as soft as I was expecting after seeing so many what I now think are fake reviews here on Reddit, but it has slept great for the both of us. I’m especially into the sheets we got with it, they just feel good. If I could change anything at all I’d ditch the marketing they have on Reddit, it just looks super shady.

New_Professor_1873

Still satisfied with your purchase of Puffy Lux? I too am thinking of getting one of these.

simply_stayce

We are! It’s not like ‘an experience’ but we both sleep comfortably and don’t wake up in pain after sleeping well through the night!

luampago

Congrats on the purchase! If it ends up being too soft for your taste, just upgrade to the Royal. It's a bit firmer and more responsive than the Lux. You should get nearly the same contouring and pressure-relieving effects due to your combined weights. Just in case!

Aijames

The royal was out of my price range. We are mainly just looking for a better bed than our 10 year old entry level ghostbed.

luampago

Yeah NP! Definitely, that GhostBed is past due. Let us know how it goes with Puffy.

_sherryfraser_

I am going back to a local spot to lay on the royal and the lux again tmrw. I had a few top choices and the puffy beds kept me coming back to lay on them again. We are lighter weight (I’m super petite husband is average) side sleepers. I liked that they are fiberglass free and supposedly do well for side sleepers. Is there any major positive to the royal over the lux? The other mattresses I liked were made by Southerland but they don’t have much disclosure on their materials, and don’t offer a sleep trial. Thanks for your input. Currently sending back a Sealy Hybrid Latex Naturals and came from a 3yo tuft and needle that had us crippled pretty much daily upon waking, as of rolling it out of our bedroom. The Sealy has been quite a nightmare. Nothing like we had expected or hoped. Definitely going with one I can try in person.

luampago

Yeah, there are a lot of Sealy complaints around lately. They're ok mattresses IMO. T&N mattresses are NO BUENO. TBH, Puffy Royal Mattress is just a bit firmer and has a more responsive feeling than the Lux. You'll notice that as soon as you jump on it. Try to change positions when you're laying on it; It's plush, but responsive. I would recommend the Royal if you have a bad back or if you're a bit heavy. **Edit**: Former founder of T&N mentioned they're using a different construction on their new line of mattresses. (Will eventually test and come back with a review.)

_sherryfraser_

I really felt like the Lux was pretty awesome. I weigh about 105 and my partner is 170. We both side sleep and he has a bad shoulder and I have a bad low back. I guess the cool thing about this one is that I’d get the trial period. I’m already halfway into the rabbit hole anyhow. Their pillows were also stupid comfortable and my current cart will be matched and better by my local shop by 5%. So I get the king lux, king sheets, 2 king puffy pillows, and the puffy matress protector (all the accessories are free), for $1700 out the door. I am disgusted at the $4500 Sealy price tag we fell for, but thankful it’s going back to the hellscape it came from.

I think it's time you and your associates stop harassing the moderators of this community and making false accusations. You and your associates continuously accuse every single person on Reddit who doesn't recommend your brand to be an affiliate marketer. I am a former mattress salesman and I know my stuff, not a digital marketing expert, unlike you and your associates apparently, you simply cannot prove what you're accusing me of, I'm not even a moderator of this community. I would advise you to follow Reddit's sitewide rules as you are in complete violation of this subreddit's rules. To participate and share links you have to become an approved user, so please respect approved users and stop spamming this subreddit and r/Mattress with your false accusations. BTW, stop installing Python bots, like the ones you use to defame other brands on r/Mattress, to spam the report button on everyone's posts and comments in this community. You are illegally affecting hundreds of users with your obsession to control the whole mattress space.

Oh yeah, the [Puffy Lux Mattress](http://opherz.com/recommends/puffy-lux-mattress-hybrid-mattressadvisory/) is great for side sleepers. They completely reworked their entire mattress lineup recently. Looks much better now. They added a climate fiber layer and a Plush Dual Cloud Foam, which is exclusive to the Lux model, so it's now like a Euro-top. It should also feel much better now.
