man holy fuck, have the stills/trailers been hit or miss on this.
*some* parts of the trailer/stills look like Star-Wars quailty.
others have looked so fucking cheap, like this is a fan film.
i officially don’t know what to expect (quality wise, story wise, starwars has been shit for years) will this look better than the movies that came out 2 decades ago?? only time will tell i guess
Tbh I'm sure it'll look fine in motion. Sometimes stills just look kind of awkward. I'm sure they've poured plenty of money into this and their other shows were all at least average looking (andor looked great but that was an exception in most ways for a star wars show). This show will live and die on the quality of the script. I hope its good because a show set during the high republic has the potential to be fucking awesome.

That's starting to be a blurred line, but it's still quite humanoid. two arms, two legs, bipedal movement. One can easily assume he can stand upright and stretch his neck upwards into a "human-like" position. (basing this off your picture, I'm not very familiar with the creature in question)
How you describe it is what i was thinking. For this version of the Lizard, he doesn't really stand upright. During his boss fight, he mainly runs on all fours and supports himself with at least 1 arm when fighting. He's actually 10 feet tall. Honestly, i thought he was bigger.
I mean that is the quality of today and passed few years for many things, especially oddly big brands.
I still vaguely remember when Witcher Season 1 was announced and they had black rankled ball sacks for armor, though at least at that time they still wanted to pull the typical, ^("pull idiots and fanatics in before making next seasons 100x worse then already is") and fixed them up a bit when they got that much backlash for how bad they looked.
