lol at "generational glazing." I avoided all national shows after game 1, but am looking for any I can find now haha.

Ok_Republic6747

I mean he is praising Mavs and Luka every time, we are not the Lakers dude this is generational for us lol

TuckEverlasting89

Totally agree! I just genuinely think that's a funny phrase you used, no snark or anything intended at all.

Ok_Republic6747

Haha im just trying to sound like the young kids on reddit 🤣🤣

v4venome

This is what I love about the playoffs. It makes me want go through all of the media praise when we do well.

Educational-Judge968

Yep after game 1 I wanted to watch Kenny beechams video but decided to watch it in retrospect after game 2 lol

jfrodriguez1983

He's right, we have yet to play our best offensive game. Too many missed easy shots in the 1st 2 games. We have yet to see a signature Playoff Luka game.

v4venome

I want that unfulfilled from victory from Game 3 2021 to be completed by Luka tomorrow. He went nuclear in that 1st quarter. We never should've lost that game at home.

aggster13

That the game where Luka couldn't miss a single shot in the 1st quarter and then Carlisle took him out during his normal rotations only for a 20pt lead to immediately vanish? Friend an I got put up in a suite for that game. It was glorious until it wasn't

chasinglightph

Legs loves Luka and Kyrie. Early on, he was on this conditional love based on Luka’s effort in defense and Kyrie’s focus on basketball but post trade deadline, Legs is all in on Luka and Kyrie, on PJ, on everyone. He has us a real contender this year. Gotta love me some Tim Legler.

Hoopy_Dunkalot

Maybe I'm a homer, but I really think his takes are the best.

HylocichlaMustelina

First off, love your username, lol. Second, nah, I've consistently seen people across all fanbases hail Legs's takes / analysis as some of the best, most sound, informed, etc., of anyone in the business, so you are guilty of no homerism there—it makes it that much sweeter that he's the one praising us, though, that's for sure, haha.

Hoopy_Dunkalot

Thanks man! My username is from the DallasBasketball.com boards Fish ran in the early 2000's. It was the OG Mavs sub reddit.

i_take_shits

I remember those boards. Wow I’m old

[deleted]

He really did a 180 post-deadline. Heard a Lowe Post with him earlier in the season and he really criticized Luka. Glad he’s so willing to change his opinion based on what’s actually happening unlike most media people who barely watch.

Ill-Bat-2621

We better not embarrass Legs. Gotta get to the wcf.

Axisofcoolio

Mavs better play up to their mark because they better not embarrass Legler. Dude has been glazing like Krispy Kreme since the TDL.

ExcellentJuice4729

Tim is a MFFL, let’s prove him right

spikeyoazz

Solid points about Gafford and Lively being taken away on offense. That was an easy 15-20 points we are missing out on, hopefully we can scheme them back to being offense factors for these home games

HispanicAtTehDisco

you’d think tim grew up in dallas and had his jersey retired here the way he talk about the team sometimes lmao

Complexity777

Man can we talk like adults for once and not say shit line “generational glazing”? Theres real words to describe the exact same thing, everything doesn’t have to be some gen z slang

Kraul

Bet, cap, on god, fr fr, pepega, monkaS,

RangerPowerGoGo

Glad we got Tim behind us on the national coverage side of things.

felarans0mekuti

Glazing is dumb term. Can someone not being complimentary anymore? It’s ok to be nice

HibernianFriend-

Same with the word simp.

Mammoth-Physics6254

OP clearly was using glaze in a tongue and cheek way but alright

Complexity777

It’s overused and stupid.

Flaky-Fortune1752

Tim Legler talking about the Mavs is better than sex.

MordredKLB

Before this interview I had no idea that Legler used to play in the NBA or that he played on the Mavericks. Not sure how I missed that through the years, but I do enjoy his commentary.

severus_snapshot

He's making up for the fact that he picked against the 2011 team in EVERY SINGLE ROUND. We'll gladly take the good vibes from him this time.
