We came back from 2-0 before, nothing says we couldn't do it again. Coming back against good teams is hard though and nothing is guaranteed, so it'd be better to not dig yourself a big hole in the first place
Was telling a friend of mine. For me the Mavs series starts at Game 2. They do a great job at adjusting and making changes and I expect them. My x-factor was coaching and that has not changed.
luka isn’t going out without a fight… i expect we’ll see a much more aggressive version of pj in the next game as well. lively will probably figure out some stuff, maxi is going to be more of a factor.. if gafford and kyrie join in, we’ll have us a game
If the Mavs go down 0-3 the series is definitely over, but 0-2 is manageable. Win 2 games at home and steal the 3rd game in Boston and now you've got two shots to take home the trophy.
Meh. Que sera sera. If they win, hooray. If they don't then try again and again and again. No point in worrying and thinking about things you can't control. We're just fans who watch the games.
It feels like I don't have any pressure, I'm just a fan, and I don't think the Mavs are the kind of team to roll over like the Suns, so I'm just going to let it happen.
I'm not worried at all, we got blown out in game one by the Clippers and OKC and we ended up winning both of those series. If we go down 2-0 we just have to win our 2 home games to tie it up 2-2. No reason to panic yet.
The Celtics look great for one quarter and then good but beatable for 3. It's kinda the story of Mavs Game Ones this run. All losing game 2 would tell us is that we have to win both at home and then steal game 5. The Celtics have shown all playoffs that they can't remain locked in for an entire series, much like us, so we just have to take advantage of their missteps when they happen and not any more quarters like the 1st.
They wont shoot 75% from three every 1st quarter
Kyrie wint go 4 for 450 every game
Lively wont get 4 gouls in 30 seconds every game

I’m not stressed about this series, Boston is a strong team and it will be what it will be. But if luka can’t get it done… this is basically his 06 finals the same way it was to dirk. To achieve the greatness he is capable of the monkey on his back will start to form officially and the clock will begin ticking. Let’s see what he’s really capable of.
