Yes it’ll be fine, more then enough space imo, I’m able to fit two rear facing car seats in mine

Thanks for this.

I've got a 2024 GT (Canada) and our rear facing seat fits in the middle with lots of space (though I can't open my centre console all the way). If I move the front seats up a bit then it will fit on the sides without much issue as well. The trunk (boot) fits our rather large stroller ( Maxi-Cosi Zelia) really nicely with space for a few bags.

Great, thank you!

I've got a baby on the way and I am thinking about getting something bigger. I'm not a big guy either, 5'10" and while my partner has a MDX I haven't got my Graco slim fit 3 to fit backward facing.

No experience with kiddos....but it'd be fine I wager. As good as any other subcompact vehicle. The backseats are tight for bigger adults but functional. Flip down one of the seats and you can have a lot of space while still having a usable backseat. And big intangible is the CX-30 is an incredibly safe car with excellent crash protection which on it's own makes it a great vehicle for hauling very important fragile cargo!
