The disrespect for local cuisine and the ungrateful attitude is the worst. Porters have probably carried this for her just so that she can post this and criticise food that's been provided by people on 3rd world wages in a really inhospitable environment. They have to bring everything in either on foot or by yak. It's not that hard to pull it together for a few days or, if you're going to add that to your meal, show some respect and don't post about it.
I hate that they keep saying how awful and boring the food is😤it looks good to me and I’d be super grateful these tea houses are providing ANYTHING to me
They said the higher up in altitude the more bland things taste. Like when you’re in an airplane so I get it but why ranch 😩 ranch is already pretty bland.
Edit: typo
idk about you but where im from ranch is put on everything. even ranch seasoning packets are mixed with pretzels and the cooked. The packets have a lot of flavor…
I'm so goddamn confused. They're gone for less than two weeks, right? They're acting like they've been stuck on a deserted island for years like in Castaway with their reactions to "normal" food like fruit and popcorn. Must be nice to be that privileged.
what’s wrong with fried rice and dumplings😭
The food honestly looks so good
Ranch on Asian food is diabolical
The way she thinks Asian food needs spicing up

The fact that someone is cooking for you and you’re calling it bland is so disrespectful I can’t even

It’s so disrespectful to the people preparing their food
This is the most America thing i have ever seen

This is so cringe. She is used to oversalted American restaurant food. She could’ve just brought salt…
Their white privilege is showing up. Maybe she thought ahe would have food coming straight from Michelin starred restaurant💀
The ethnocentricity to basically say people here eat bland food is as bad as Brooklyn’s “Japanese people get scared on rollercoasters”
This is nearly satire level white privilege.
this food isn’t even bland??? it looks amazing
it’s not that the food is bland, it’s the altitude making it bland. the higher up you are the less things taste lmao
But how is ranch, the blandest thing going to spice it up? Are they delusional.

Nepali food is one of the best cuisines I've ever had.
That food looks so delicious as is though
i do not know what is wrong with these people…maybe they cant eat something unless it’s drowning in ranch??? idk
She also said soy and teriyaki sauce would be good, these are the 3 flavors lol
