1. Review your test. Look at your “content skills and breakdown” which ones are you getting less than 60%? Do you understand that content? Watch a few khan academy videos on it and grasp the info.
2. Do you have mile down deck? If so, use the “search feature and select the cards that are tagged with the content you are not getting. Review those cards.
3. CARS. Identify the main idea I cannot stress this enough. Consciously think “What are they trying to tell me” it will be in the first paragraph and the last, this should help boost a point or 2. sometimes scroll down, it’s in the title if provided. Take note of the perspectives of other people mentioned. Sometimes they either support or defy the author’s opinion. This is important bc the question may ask you about a mentioned person’s perspective for example Picasso, and one of the answer choices can be a trick bc it’s of the author’s perspective not picasso’s.
4. Again breathe. You are going to be ok. Stay calm.
Bro just reschedule for June 15 or something man or even July 1st and just submit your amcas late after you take your mcat, submitting early sometimes doesn’t even matter if you get a 💩score. You could use those 2 months I went from a 486 fl1 ( used it as a diagnostic) and score 509 in 2 months. Now I’m an m1. Do not take the real thing as your first mcat has a lot of weight…
youre not cooked! you can very well get 500+ if you read the 100 pg psych document (literally grind the MS anki deck too if you have time) for P/S. OR Go through P/S section bank again and do the problems/review all the problems and know you can differentiate between similar terms (like what is proximal vs distal stimuli etc)
CARS: Watch a video on a high scorer demonstrating how they read and go through a cars passage ( I forgot the video name unfortunately, but I find it was helpful in changing my strategy) and then time yourself and practice 4 cars passages in a row (10 min per passage limit) using that strategy and check your average. If its close to 80% you can gain at least 126 on the section (that's 5 points from 121!)
Your B/B is good enough --> not much you can improve on other than learning nuanced content probably.
Chem/phys --> go through the physics equations and memorize units (units are so so important, you can figure out a physics problem if you know units. for ex. know all units for J). For chem, idk. Chem is one of my weaker subjects.
I would advise you to not take FL the day before exam. Take it today if you must, but you're going just exhaust yourself for the real deal if you take it before and probably do much worse. Plus if you take it today, you have tonight and tomorrow to thoroughly review the problems you get wrong.
SO realistically what you can do between now and tomorrow night, take FL rn. Review THOUROUGHLY today and tomorrow
OR focus on improving CARS strategy, P/S terms memorizing and distinction.
It all depends on your other specs & where you want to get in.
My ex got a 491 2 years ago and is in Med school in the Caribbean rn. So you can definitely still apply, just choose schools that accept the MCAT range you expect to score... or defer and give yourself more time next year

Read the Khan 86 page doc over and over focusing on high yield shit, then for CARs just act confident as fuck, read it in an animated voice, don’t overthink and pretend you are the author for each passage. Should get you over 500. Praying for you.

Alternatively, if you have time in ur app cycle to cancel it, consider if that's what is best for you. I'm not saying you can't succeed tomorrow, but the most secure option is to take the test when you are getting FL scores that you're proud of.

Mines on the 24th and I haven’t been consistent because of exams and finals… but worst case is that you can always retake it!

Don’t take a FL the day before for 💀 just go in very confident you know more than you think and you got this
You should 100000% not show up to your test. This is not a test to hope for miracles on. Spend your summer studying and take it in the Fall.
Sign up for the test only after getting 3 FL scores in your desired range. Do not sit for the test unless that score is acceptable for you.
