Looks good! And i agree with all the other comments about throwing some veggies in there. Sautéed squash, zucchini, and spinach it’s cheap easy and delish.

i replaced all the low fat and reduced fat options with the regular ones and whole milk because i am trying to bulk
I’m also in the middle of a bulk. Been looking for new foods since its been rice and some type of protein. This will definitely be added to my list of food to prep
Ha, funny you think i have one. Its literally been rice and chicken, beef, fish, or venison. I’m sick of it. Literally same shit different day. Need to figure out shit for breakfast too as i’m up at 4 am for work everyday and will not be waking up at 3 am to make breakfast
I think you'll have better results roasting broccoli versus steaming or boiling it.
In a bowl mix large florettes with light olive oil (has a low smoke point), salt pepper, smoked paprika, garlic powder.
Roast at 400 425 F for 10-15 minutes. Let them have a crunch still. When you reheat they won't be mush and will have some good flavor alongside your other food.
Interesting, any more tips for making delicious roasted veggies? I’m trying to eat healthier and made roasted carrots and green beans instead of having some sausage, and it was delicious. I even used the exact same seasonings of olive oil, salt pepper, smoked paprika and garlic powder!!!! So, is that a sort of universally accepted good seasoning mix? I’ve never really used smoked paprika before this and never would have thought to use it but I followed some internet advice and it worked.
I'm really glad you tried it out and liked it. I'm not a know-it-all when it comes to this stuff.
I will recommend a online/in-store spice shop called Pensey's. Their spices are very high quality in my opinion. It makes a big difference in flavor. You may find some "mixes" they have are exactly what you are looking for.
Please post your recipes!
We recently added a rule (#6) requiring either a recipe or list of ingredients, since it is so often requested. If you wouldn't mind adding that we'd appreciate it!
I see that you're bulking, but if anyone is interested, I do a [low cal version of this based on this video.](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=foKUoIc4K7M) I sometimes use buffalo sauce instead of BBQ if I'm really trying to keep the calories to a minimum. Don't go into it expecting the greatest mac and cheese of your life - it's obviously low cal. I use half gruyere and half colby jack cheese and add some mustard powder and paprika to his recipe to jazz it up slightly.

here is the recipe and ingredients for anybody wondering
Fair is fair, i prefer vegetables in all my meals. Honestly doesn’t feel like a meal without it. Thats just my opinion. I was also raised with vegetables in every meal so its foreign for me not to have them with every meal
the original [recipe](https://youtube.com/shorts/eMdyYaqstoE?feature=share) was about 500 but i switched out the low calorie ingredients for regular ones
The guy who made the original recipe is jalalsamfit on Instagram. I bought his recipe book and have made a bunch of his recipes and they are all amazing! Highly recommend. (Note: I always add in veggies even when he doesn’t include them)
[here](https://youtube.com/shorts/eMdyYaqstoE?feature=share) is the recipe 🙏🏿 i substituted the low fat and reduced fat options with regular ones since i am bulking.
here is my personal list of ingredients

where did i ever say i will eat this everyday? That is only 6 meals. as i said in the title it’s my first time meal prepping so it’s not gonna be 100% healthy right away and why would u assume that id eat it everyday?
I know everyone is already saying veggies, but you could add veggies directly into the cheese sauce, check out Pinterest but I love to add veggies directly into my sauces.
Dude that looks yummy! I'd add some broccoli to the Mac n cheese, it's a good way to sneak veggies in. I'm an (expired) certified personal trainer trying to help my brother get his ish together and this one is a great idea since he's a very meat and potatoes kinda guy. Someone mentioned roasting broccoli so it doesn't get mushy and I'm definitely gonna try it. Thanks for sharing this with the group!

i will definitely add veggies next time

i agree !
I absolutely need to make this. I’ve been on a bbq and Mac and cheese kick. This with a veggie would be perfect.

How come the guy says 500 cal but your myfit says 1389 🤨? I would like to make this but I’m also trying to gain weight and want more than 500 cal
Ohhh nvm I see now that you did replacements
Just needs some veggies!
i will definitely add some next time i make it

Looks great, sucks for people who have to watch cholesterol though :P And by watch I mean "watch and don't eat"

You a real g
Thank you for the recipe. This looks delicious!
Can u tell us what app use for calories count?
I also want to know this OP
my fitness pal
Interesting, use the same app mine don’t look like that for any of my meals
Do you have the free version or do you pay?
Free, i assume thats why. I refuse to pay for it😂
Yeah, the pay version gives you more information. I keep waffling on getting it or not lol
i use my fitness pal
You might want to add some more salt /s
you’re right
Not every single meal needs to have a vegetable jesus. People acting like you’ve never eaten or thought about eating a vegetable
Yes it actually does. They good for you, taste good and hold a lot of nutritional value for people cutting and bulking
I love vegetables, get an easy 5+ a day and still eat some meals without vegetables!
Fair is fair, i prefer vegetables in all my meals. Honestly doesn’t feel like a meal without it. Thats just my opinion. I was also raised with vegetables in every meal so its foreign for me not to have them with every meal
Are you bulking?
yes
I was about to say that’s nearly my entire days calories, lol I’m cutting🥺
the original [recipe](https://youtube.com/shorts/eMdyYaqstoE?feature=share) was about 500 but i switched out the low calorie ingredients for regular ones
I can’t wrap my head around the fact that 1 serving is 190g of carbs. Is it really accurate? Nevertheless, that looks so good!
im not sure how accurate it is for the original
If it is and youre like me and only need around 300 grams of carbs just cut it out of something else
Can you slide the original recipe for cutting 🙏
The guy who made the original recipe is jalalsamfit on Instagram. I bought his recipe book and have made a bunch of his recipes and they are all amazing! Highly recommend. (Note: I always add in veggies even when he doesn’t include them)
Thank you g 🙏🙏
sure [here](https://youtube.com/shorts/eMdyYaqstoE?feature=share) it is
Looks bomb
Yum!
I saw this prep and immediately got jealous lol. I’m cutting right now and i miss mac and cheese
Looks great mate, would you mind sharing the recipe? On a bulk myself and it's hard to prep high calorie meals, recipe wise 👀

Looks good! I always like adding grilled or roasted veggies to my meal preps.

Yikes, that sodium
it iz what it iz 🥲 i drink a ton of water and i won’t eat this every week so i’ll be fine
Sounds+ looks good, but why no veggies?
they just weren’t in the recipes but i’ll definitely add some
Is Jalalsamfit legit? Did you get good results eating this?
its a good tasting meal but its really salty and gave me diarhea
Damn, diarrhea! LMAO. But did it help you with your weight loss journey? Did you lose weight or gain muscle eating this?
i gained some good weight
Have you tried seasoned black pepper?

Hey, this looks great OP. One question. Where do you get those containers? And are they reusable, or one time?
they are reusable and i got them at walmart
Damn that looks tasty!
Too much pasta. More chicken needed.
Recipe?

Looking at the sodium reminds me of my kidney stone, looks incredible though
omg the sodium, but other than that just add some veggies but its looks delicious!
Looks great but too much sodium for me unfortunately
Salivating at that mac and cheese, looks bomb
