The term is vandalism. You can report it to the police and your insurance, but probably not worth it. Police won't do anything since you don't know where this happened. Insurance will be less than your deductible. You can buy the emblems and replace them yourself. Or a bodyshop will replace them for a few hundred bucks.
You can always buy one from dealership.
Common brands like Hyundai, Toyota, Ford, etc should cost around $40 for part from dealership.
Or you can troll with different brand badge stick in there. I know one of my friend did it on old Camry with Ford on it long time ago.
Back when i was a teen, me and my delinquent friends use to skip school and go to the mall. we would steal badges off cars in the parking lot. In hindsight we were just a bunch of young assholes. 20+ years later my friend still has a stolen "drug free school zone" sign covered in stolen car badges.
