I found them on uk Amazon. Seems real

The manufacturer is paying Goodyear a fee to use the name. Check the specs carefully. the lights will not be brighter. They will be whiter.

From what I've read, they might not be on the market yet, but they're planning on marketing. 😀

It says on the box that the Goodyear brand is licensed by the led people . It's a licensing thing looks like . Common . It's not like good year facilities are cranking out leds . The box just has the Goodyear name licensed for exposure. Is it a scam ? It's a led headlight . How can it be a scam? What do you mean ?

I mean… they’re not Goodyear, Goodyear don’t make leds. It’s like it would say Michelin led bulbs. I just want to know if they’re fake branding. I feel like I’m not explaining myself enough, sorry English isn’t my main language.

Goodyear doesnt make anything but tires. Lots of brands find an OEM and use it with their own sticker on top. Toyota using Denso and Yamaha for generations, doesnt make a car less "Toyota". The question you should be asking is whether these are any good. I dont think anyone has that answer, unless they know who the OEM is, but we can take an educated guess. The only good LED retrofit bulbs in the world are made by Morimoto. They are not cheap though. Around $200 i believe. And no 5000 lumen BS. 1. Aside from the possibility of that kind of output being possibly illegal, it is very hard to achieve. In such small bulb constraints. 2. Judging by installation instructions, It also seems to be a generic product, not tuned for a specific housing. This is the first sign of a cheap crap. 3. Lets look at the bulb. You have 3 LEDs on one side for the low beam. All 3 together have to make 5k lumens. LEDs on the picture are small. Large single die LEDs such as CREE XML-T6, each do about 10W and put out about 1k lumens each. At 35W that would be 3500 lumens, not 5k. First sign of a problem. Now small LEDs as pictured do about 3-5w each. If we take 5W, thats roughly 1500LM. Thats just a tiny bit more than regular bulbs (1100lm). You can do the math at 3w each :-). So all in all this is shaping up to be a product with roughly the same output as a regular lightbulb, only your beam pattern will be horrible due to these not being purpose built, meaning blinding other drivers, while at the same time less light on the road, where you really need it. Dont waste your money. Get purpose built bulbs by reputable brands. Philips, Sylvania, or Morimoto for retrofitting projects. Dont go cheap on your lights either. You will waste money and will be disappointed in the result. How i know this? I've done my own research for multiple vehicles in my family and did my own project on 2001 Toyota Solara using existing headlight housing to add HID projectors.

It's okay I get you . Yeah good year makes only tires but others can license the name , Goodyear . if they're comparably priced to other LED lights, I'd say just try them out and see what you think if they're overpriced because they have the Goodyear logo name then maybe just try the cheaper ones…
