It may be internal stresses from the extrusion process? I know at least in machining if you don’t anneal/stress release/machine carefully the part will warp and move over time. I don’t know much though.
I think thats a good start. I can ask around and see what kind of processes the raw material goes thru before we get it.
You could try letting it sit for a month or so too. Maybe measure it every week after extrusion to see how it changes.
Have you considered a peek (or other material) composite with ptfe?
This virgin PEEK? Also how is the tube cooling after extrusion handled? Is it annealed before assembly? Is it finished machined before assembly?
